Delay of game was huge.

Patriots would not have scored again if they hadn’t had that penalty.

Jags would be up 17-3 going into half.

Come on, that helmet to helmet has been called all year.

I've been consistent on this in college and the NFL.

I hate the targeting rule.

I think it should be designated strictly for a player "targeting" someone's head.

He didn't target his head. Did helmets make contact? Yeah.

Stuff happens.

But, that was not a head hunting hit.

IMO

Check your eyes, his helmet clearly hit his.

Complain about the PI call all you want, but if you b*** about the helmet to helmet, you're just letting your hate flow.

If you watch closely, the jaguar player lowers his shoulder first causing contact to his helmet.

It’s not like he lowered his head and hit him dead on.

C’mon now, this is freaking football.

If you don’t like being hit, strap flags to their waist.

That's fine, but by the way they've called it all year, that's a penalty. You can not like it, but you can't complain that they called it because again....that gets called all season.

To clarify, I'm not disputing the letter of the law with regard to the call.

I just hate that call. I think that's football.

You guys have your panties in wad because it went against the Jags and helped the Pats.

And yes, Mr. Sitting on the Couch watching, it is football. I don't know if you've been paying attention, but the head trauma thing has been kinda a big deal the past few years.

Targeting is, at times, like a flagrant foul call in basketball.

If it looks bad, or the player is slow to get up, it's called. If it doesn't look bad, or if the player pops right back up, it's less likely to be called.

I knew the flag was coming as soon as it happened.

That last play by Bohanon.....IMO, he did more to target the defender trying to hit him and lowered his helmet much more intently than Church did hitting Gronk.

But, offensive players don't get flagged in those situations.

Still haven't heard or seen anybody defend that PI call though.

Looked like a good call to me. Bouye had both arms extended and on Cooks pushing him out of bounds down the field and didn't look back for the ball at all. Not sure what was so bad with it.

And the helmet to helmet wasnt even close to not being called correctly. Was text book helmet to helmet targeting

Because a defensive player isn't considered a defenseless player like a receiver is when in the process of catching a pass. This has been the rule for like the past 6 years....
