Holly has been right on par with pats last 4 years. The fact is womens B.B. is so much harder to win now than it was 10 years ago. Partly because of UConn but just because they are so many other competent programs now. We should still be top 10 and elite 8 basically every year but its just harder now than it ever was.
I am a proud parent of a doberman and a german shepherd. I also get to do whatever I want, travel drive a nice car and not worry about the one miliion stresses that come with kids. There are enough people in the world but hey more power to everyone that feels they must make a carbon copy of themselves to feel complete.
Giving credit where credit is due, I do think he left the roster better than he found it in just about every area except OL. In regards to pure talent anyway, because S&C was a failure under Jones as well.
I delayed kids as much as possible. Always felt like I wanted them. Didn't have our first until I was 33. Wife said if we're going to have them, I'm not getting any younger. My biggest regret is not having them earlier. The joy and satisfaction of having kids is something you can't describe unless you experience it. My daughter just graduated a year ago from UT with a double major in Business analytics and marketing in 3 1/2 years, Suma cum lade. Could not be more proud. My son will graduate with a gpa well in access of 4.0 and has already been accepted into UT and the college of engineering. He is also my best friend. He hangs with his friends but always makes time for his dad. I wish I was younger so I could do more stuff with him.
I respect your decision not to procreate but I can tell you you're missing out on something you can't even begin to understand. I may never do anything worth noting in my life but I can always point to my kids as my greatest accomplishment.
Turn 30 this year and have no kids. I've also traveled to Europe and South America. Do I want kids? Yes, eventually. Right now? No.
IQ obviously isnt everything. Its kind of impossible (and I would not want to go down that rabbit hole here) to lay out an entire argument in just a snidey little forum post. No harm intended. A lot of science has been down since 81 though.
If its a topic of interest to you, id Highly recommend the documentary Demographic Winter: The Decline of the Human Family.
...and thats the last ill say on the topic. As im actually in the group that would prefer mens and womens basketball talk be taken to the appropriate forums..back to football please!

4-5 times a week with a gorgeous wife. You?
BTW just to clear the air and hopefully stop the tangent, I am all for you if you decide to have kids. Love them and raise them to the best of your ability. It's just never been for me. I have reasons but they are mine and I will not get into them. Carry on and GBO!

I'd agree with that. I wouldn't consider this a good roster though by SEC standards. We're middle of the road at best IMO. A lot of people spout off a few good players and mistake that for being a good roster.
Zerrick Cooper is transferring from Clemson. I wonder how long Hunter Johnson will hang around.

SIAP.
Here's the Pro Football Focus ranking of all 28 defenders last year. Unfortunately, number 1 and 3 are both leaving. On the plus side, we have some nice building blocks returning.
What I found interesting is most grades matched the 'eye test'. I was a little surprised Kahlil was that high. He seemed lazy sometimes (but he plays in the middle so it's hard to tell). I also thought Kyle Phillips and Vickers played better than their grades. Otherwise, it's about how I saw it.
Enjoy!
