Oh I agree, and it wouldn’t work on me, I’d say not you either but we aren’t 17 yr old impressionable kids. His quote of Tn was near the top, but not at the top tells me he is still unsure, I like UT chances today. Think he would sign with UT today. Remember, he had more than one set on papers sent to him in the early signing period, not just Bama. Bama was expecting him to sign with Ga that Thursday night of the early period.

First of all I am not a Georgia fan, I have1 diploma and lettered 3 years at UT. Just because I am no completely delusional and claim we have the best staff in the country.or every kid we are recruiting was a Vol fan growing up. These kids signing this year have witnessed some of the worst UT football in our history, why would UT be their dream school when 3 teams who border our state habe won NC since we have sniffed the East?

I think Pruitt is a great coach, elite recruiter, but his staff, namely coordinators have a lot to prove,neither has much of a resume as a successful cooridinator, I would have like to have seen more experienced men to help with transition from coordinator to head coacch

Then the crowd say 9-10 wins in 18, our talent level is as low as I ever seen, partly because of poor development and partly because of Botch and staff's poor evaluation. Our players are in for a ride awakening, no more country club practices, older guys may not But in and being forced to play several true frosh won't help the record much in 18.

I have no idea where Georgia fans think Walker ends up, but if I had to guess I think they believe he signs with them. Why shouldn't they, they have basically shut Bama out in Georgia since Kirby got there and looks like they have signed just about everyone they wanted. Comes down to Kirby being able to convince him to come and comete for playing time against a large group of young talented lb over coming here with a much friendier depth chart.

GA is now in best player mode, all the needs have been met except one corner, and Campbell committed over the weekend. Could be LB, S, or WR.

What's interesting about the shut Bama out of Georgia comment is the fact that if Pruitt is still at Bama, Peterson and Walker would be signing with them. Vols do have the favorable depth chart and he did mention depth chart in one of his recent interviews so it will be interesting to see what he does.

Georgia is recruiting him to play ILB on 1st and 2nd down, which is why Schumann has always been involved in his recruitment. One of the biggest things Georgia has going for it with ILBs is the idea that they can be the next "Roquan". Roquan is very well respected among Georgia HS ILB type players and they love how Georgia used him. Pappoe said in a recent interview that he talks to Roquan frequently. Not sure about Walker, but my guess is that they are showing him lots of film on how they used Roquan.

Peterson probably would have signed with UA but as mentioned earlier in this thread most UA fans have not expected Walker to not be a part of our class since the summer. So Pruitt staying at UA would not have changed Walker going somewhere else.

yeah I knew he was on flip watch since the summer but I think it could have possibly affected it. That's something we will never know for a fact.

Even still, there aren't 3 teams that border us that have won it. Who's valid now? Bama, Auburn, and who? South Carolina doesn't border us, my friend.
