I reckon I'm pretty old...going into the 1990's Ireland was one of the poorest countries in Europe, they were also a "neutral" country not aligned with either the US or the Soviet Union and that had as much to do with the status as did anything else...I was there around the time known as Celtic Tiger...anyhoo...

I did not suggest Mr. Trump call them either Garden Spots, Nor did I suggest he call them Fertilizer for Garden Spots.

He did that all on his own because you know, he's, like, really smart.

You have to look at this beyond the surface level for a second.

Are Haiti and many African a countries “sh*tholes”? It’s a subjective determination, but we all basically agree they are.

Here is the problem. The discussion in the Oval Office wasn’t about what countries suck. It was about legal immigration. Legal immigration, that is merit based and has standards to be accepted.

Ultimately, they were discussing something where geography is mostly irrelevant because there are no superior Norwegian candidates being turned down for inferior Haitian ones.

Good Haitian candidates are accepted. Good Norwegians are accepted.

He injected Georaphy into the discussion of acceptance when the idea is you look at the individual person, not where they are from.
