Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

so another politician was cheating on his wife.

Well, per the Wall Street Journal, there is a little more to it than that. $130K to keep a porn star quiet a month before the election? That's pretty juicy. Trump can't attack the source either unless he wants to jeopardize his cozy relationship with Murdoch.

One of Hillary Clinton’s wealthy pals paid $500,000 in an unsuccessful effort to fund women willing to accuse President Trump of sexual misconduct before the 2016 election, The New York Times reported Sunday.

Susie Tompkins Buell, the founder of Esprit Clothing and a major Clinton campaign donor for many years, gave the money to celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom who was working with a number of Trump accusers at the time, according to the paper’s bombshell report.

Bloom solicited donors by saying she was working with women who might “find the courage to speak out” against Trump if the donors would provide funds for security, relocation and possibly a “safe house,” the paper reported.

Former Clinton nemesis turned Clinton operative David Brock also donated $200,000 to the effort through a nonprofit group he founded, the paper reported in an article entitled, “Partisans, Wielding Money, Begin Seeking to Exploit Harassment Claims.”

Bloom told the Times that the effort was unproductive. One woman requested $2 million then decided not to come forward. Nor did any other women.

This is worth mentioning only because it is from a Rupert Murdoch owned news source, The Wall Street Journal. Obviously, Murdoch is not a liberal. The WSJ is reporting that a Trump lawyer, Michael Cohen, arranged for a $130,000 payment be made prior to the 2016 election, to an adult-film star - Stephanie Clifford (screen name Stormy Daniels) - to keep her silent about a 2006 sexual encounter she had with Trump (he has been married to Melania since 2005). The article is very specific to be completely made up... and like I said, this isn't coming from CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post or The New York Times here... Rupert Murdoch also owns Fox News. It will be interesting to see if Fox News reports it. I doubt it.

Fox reported it.

It’ll go away in a week, until the next Trump media ‘fix’ comes in.

Last Saturday afternoon in Washington, D.C. an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic Cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day’s Mass, and asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint.

The Cardinal replied, “No. I don’t really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over some of Pelosi’s views.” Pelosi’s aide then said, “Look, I’ll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to you if you’ll just tell the congregation you see Pelosi as a saint.”

The Cardinal thought about it and said, “Well, the Church can use the money, so I’ll work your request into tomorrow’s sermon.” As Pelosi’s aide promised, Nancy Pelosi appeared for the Sunday worship and seated herself prominently at the forward left side of the center aisle. As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that Ms. Pelosi was present.

The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, “While Ms. Pelosi’s presence is probably an honor to some, the woman is not numbered among my personal favorite personages. Some of her most egregious views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and she tends to flip-flop on many other issues. Nancy Pelosi is a petty, self-absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker, and a nit-wit. Nancy Pelosi is also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Nancy Pelosi is the worst example of a Catholic I have ever personally witnessed. She married for money and is using her wealth to lie to the American people. She also has a reputation for shirking her Representative obligations both in Washington and in California . The woman is simply not to be trusted.”

The Cardinal concluded. “But, when compared with Hillary Clinton, Ms. Pelosi is a saint.”

Why do you say that? A few things had happened that raised questions. They've been answered. I'm satisfied he is not mentally ill.

His problems are not caused by disease; they are simply defects of character.
