I have probably 10 posts to this very thread where I argue in favor of a meritocracy based system for immigration. Immigrants should be evaluated on their individuals merits (education, work experience, English speaking ability, results of a thorough background check and willingness to assimilate); not on their place of origin.

The point is that it further makes Trump look like a racist fool, with no ability to control his childish, narcissistic tendencies, that hates poor people until they vote for him.

This seems to be what most reasonable people want, myself included. The blanket bans on ethnicities, religions, and country of origin is when the crazies come out of the bushes.

I think at this point we ought to go ahead and build the border wall. It is too easy for guys like Trump to just speak in general terms about "illegal immigration" and people get this image in their heads of drug dealers crossing over into Texas or Arizona, when in reality the issues are far more complex.

Building a wall to stop future illegal crossings would go a long way to forcing Trump et al to be more precise in what they mean.

I don't know his position on this, or all the specifics in general...Country of Origin – is but a mere portion of valuation.

Aliens who are nationals of a country that has sent less than 50,000 lawful permanent residents to the United States during the past 5 years shall receive 5 points. Under the proposed bill the Diversity Visa category would be eliminated.

However, aliens from countries meeting the criteria of what are now known as Diversity Visa countries would receive points based on being a national of those countries under the proposed bill.

I agree that he does have have some of those traits, but it’s this whole racist or white Nationalist thing is a product of the media being pissed off that he won. Hell, his daughter converted to Judaism, he got the 3 black kids from UCLA out of Chinese prison,but yeah he’s a white supremacist, racist. I’m not even a Trump supporter or detractor, but I can’t stand the liberals that have faux outrage at every turn.

Whats racist about it?

If someone points out the lowest literacy rates in the world are in those two areas is that racist?

what about highest rates of infant mortality?

Or they have the lowest life expectancy in the world?

Or the highest death rates in the world?

Or the most people with AIDS?

Or dying from AIDS?

Highest risks for infection diseases of all kinds..

The most malnourished children...

Facts are my boo. I’m not afraid of them. It’s humorous that off all things to get pissed about with him you all get butthurt over telling the truth.
