Trump refers to immigrants from Haiti and Africa as being from s***hole countries.

Maybe the president should refrain from referring to other country's as "shtholes?"

Think it if you want, don't say it.

It makes me wonder if this whole thing is a ploy to rally his base. They seem to be impressed by low brow asssholery like this.

Well, if we're merely linking motive to effect, he was probably just trying to madden the unhinged.

It would have been even better it he said F... ing in front of Sht holes .... Chris Cuomo would have burst into flames

Good news! Trump now corrected the lying press: He didn't really use the word "****hole".

Phew. Case closed. Thread moot. Moving on...

I really want to believe you...

I mean, how could a question like "are people ready to admit Trump is a racist yet" not be construed as loaded or anything? Silly pedestrian folks just don't understand provocation.

"You stop beating your wife yet?"

I agree it was a loaded thread title. Easy way to get the discussion rolling.

President Trump reportedly referred to immigrants from Haiti and African countries as coming from "s***hole countries" on Thursday.

How articulate of him.

Trump made the comment in an Oval Office meeting with lawmakers during a discussion of protections for immigrants from several countries, according to the Washington Post.

"Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?" Trump said, according to multiple people briefed on the meeting.

He reportedly said that the U.S. should bring in more people from countries like Norway.

In other words, we should exclude blacks and bring in more whites, right Donald?

oh stop with the race card.

Now have you condemened Killary for saying "Get those f'ing retards out of here" when talking about down syndrome kids?

I'm about to spend a few weeks for work in a third world country, Puerto Rico. Now while I will be staying at a 5 star hotel/resort, I am going to try and get some good snaps of what a third world country looks like outside of possible tourist destinations for our local liberals.

That is one of the dumbest studies i have ever seen posted on here......that was a stupid set up to show what the author wanted it to show.... I could do the same by going into inner cities and showing the correlation between welfare, crime, and drug use as it correlates to voting democrat.

And? Would that study be "dumb" or would it be telling the truth?

Anonymous, eh? Wrong as usual.

CNN:

Sen. Dick Durbin: Trump "said these hate-filled things, and he said them repeatedly"

The Democratic senator was in the room when Trump made the "****hole countries" comments yesterday, and he confirms the President did in fact use that language.

"I cannot believe that in the history of the White House, in that Oval Office, any President has ever spoken words that I personally heard our President speak yesterday," Durbin said.

I don't live in a subdivision so I don't have a reference.

Maybe use a church social. Do you invite theme all, or just the ones from nice houses? Or even better. Do you invite the ones who are most free of sin and intentionally exclude the biggest sinners?

Trump supporters - Simple question...

Was it a stupid insensitive comment that only perpetuates the perception that Trump is racist?

I’m not a trump supporter but am ok with him so far.....imo, he should be able to say and speak openly about anything he wants in a private meeting.... The person in the wrong is the one leaking what was said in the meeting.

I think everyone realizes he did say it. His loyal 36 % loves that he did.

Don't know why he is denying it today as no one believes him anymore, pretty much on anything.

They suck. Squalor. Harsh living conditions, poor people. What's your point? You think you're better than they are? You think they don't deserve a shot at the American dream because they were born into poverty? You might want to rethink your perspective in your 5* resort cupcake. I would call you arrogant, but it would fall on deaf ears.

If you have a mansion and are throwing a block party and worry about the poor houses..you don't have a Mansion.

Not true (limited exposure?). I can take you to a number of streets within 20 minutes of where I live that have both million $ plus homes and trailers.

"complex reasons". LOL.

Nothing complex about it. Adult Democrats occupy the jobs once filled by teenagers. I mean, do you not understand why the left is so up on increasing minimum wage? Its because large portions of their voting bloc work those jobs.

Its hard for teens to find jobs as unskilled workers when unskilled adults are already doing those jobs. What once used to be jobs for teens to do until they moved on in life have become "careers" for a lot of "people".

And if you actually live in the Outer banks area you live in an area that is 92% White. 92%..How more far removed from the reality of most of this country could you be?

I find it odd that the most fervent pro diversity liberals on this board tend to not live in areas with much of it.

Makes ya go hmmmmm....

You see, I always get confused when people use words like "deserve" in discussions like this. Please make the case that Haitians "deserve" entry into the US. Or Africans. Or Norwegians. Rich, poor, white, black, brown...

Please make the case that any non-American "deserves" a shot at the American dream.

Be specific, please.

Thanks.
