You should hate yourself for your lack of support staff knowledge. Literally everybody knows that there's not a true director of player personnel with the way the modern support staffs are structured. I feel sorry for you and everyone who knows you.

Nice rebuttal. Let the debate.

I have seen him get lazy and not hustle at times. That has frustrated me but like the kid. He needs to get thicker but if he can’t then he can’t.

I love the kid. But offensively there is no definition of an interior post player, a center, a five, other than height, where Kyle Alexander fits. Remember, this all started where I thought the addition of a true interior post player would be a great addition and bruin said we already had an elite post player in Kyle Alexander.

Thx for the reprimand. They change these titles like some people change underwear - weekly

You change weekly? No reason to change that often. After a week my drawers be like...

I haven't followed lady Vols. I know everyone was riding Holly hard. All of a sudden she has them rolling. What happened? Was deshields a Hurd type cancer? Seems to be the team got better without her

Idk much about it but that recruiting class she landed was bananas

So he doesnt have to score, he doesn't have to rebound, he's not even the in the top two on his own team, Grant is 1, admiral is 2. So your 5 is just blocks shots. Hmmm.

Also, you've fallen for the bruin misdirection, I never said he wasn't listed as the five. I said Grant takes on the five role on offense. Everything statistically backs that up. The reason is we dont have a true five on the roster, which is how this got started. I said we needed one, Bruin said we had one in Alexander. Alexander is not a five. He's not even close to a five. He checks little to no boxes on what a five should be. He's not a five and to argue otherwise is foolish. I've challenged bruin and anyone to go find me another SEC five that can't score in the low post and weighs in at 220#. Don't waste your time because they don't exist.

An offense can go through any position a coach wants. You can run your offense to set up your 2-5, and even set plays for your PG. I don't really think running the offense through Grant means he is a 5. Our 5 is just not that great on offense but is a rim protector and rebounds. It is just a position.

Auburn starts a 6'7" player at their "5." Arkansas' 5 is a true freshman- same height as Alexander and only about 10-15 pounds heavier. Those are just the players that play at their 5 position.

You are a good poster, but I just don't necessarily agree with you. I side with Bruin on this. As I said yesterday, if I could choose one position/player to add to this team, I would choose a long, athletic decent shooting wing. It would alleviate any doubles on Grant and open it up for him. A better 5 or even more dynamic PG would be nice too, and either would obviously help Grant more. I am not expert but have played my whole life. It's JMO.

To be fair, that’s not exactly how it started. You said “we need a 5* big man” Bruin said “we have one his name is grant Williams” you said “grant is not a big man. We need a 6’10 grant Williams. I thought he was a bit exposed tonight”

When y’all started talking about Alexander. You said “we don’t have a true 5 on the team. Closest would be walker. If we had a 5 that could score around the basket, just think how much it would free up grant” Bruin said “Alexander is a true 5. He’s just inconsistent. Solid but not a dominate player”. Then you went on to say he’s not physical enough for the 5 and Bruin was like that would be great but there aren’t many like that, blah blah.

Probably best asked in the lady vols forum

You are a bold faced liar. I understand it hurts to be told by so many you were wrong and you need to change the truth here but that's bs

I said we already had an elite post player And his name is GRANT WILLIAMS!

Chris Lofton is definitely a 5.

Man he was so fun to watch. Him and JaJuan smith filling it up from the Vandy star at mid court is something I’ll never forget.

Best team I’ve ever seen the Vols have. Those two, Chism, Tyler Smith. JP prince. Lawd
