no where does it define any of those days as a roughly 24 hour period. also evening and morning leaves out several hours of the day, what happened to the night and the afternoon? and was this a summer day of short evenings or winter where it was long? or is this evening possibly a reflection of the time before any stars existed to provide light and it was dark constantly, while the morning (that had no afternoon) was when light first started creeping in and you didn't have the brightness of the sun yet, so it looked like early morning?

were all the days just and evening and a morning? and not 24 hours?

also where was eden? if near the poles that throws the sense of a day or night into a further loop.

God created light before he did the sun moon and stars.

yup, that would be the bang of the big bang.

also any such light not based on the sun and our rotation relative to it would be constant (to us) and not have a day/night cycle.

the stars are just as bright during the day as they are at night, same with the moon (which is why you can see it on some days)

I can tell you this, the more I read the Bible and the more I read of science the more I see similarities. there are disagreements of course. but so far I haven't found anything heretical in science that should offend the faithful.

if anything I find it fascinating how close the Bible got to "accepted science" seeing as how many times its been touched and generations its gone through.

another case of the splendor of God amazing me. God made science, it is nothing to be feared (or worshiped but that's a different topic).

open your eyes, see the splendor of God in all things. -the Bible, probably.

And finally Ezekiel 40-48 explains how the temple system will return while Messiah is on the throne.
(That’s right. The Leviticus sacrificial system is coming back while Jesus reigns during the promised 1000 year reign.


It’s strange that people think that Jesus was bringing something new. That a Jewish G-d would suddenly changed his mind and decide that his holy word and law no longer mattered. When everything ever said about that G-d says He doesn’t change. Declares the end from the beginning. And his words are forever.

There is no mind change. That is a complete misrepresentation. Planned and not revealed is not a change of mind.

Why was Paul's ministry NOT revealed to Peter and the 12?

You have to have a big imagination to put that there. There is no way you could come up with that theory from the bible alone. :crazy:

I do see the splendor of God in all things, I just don't in fairy tails of evolution and big bang theories. :hi:

Tomb is still empty!
The Disciples of the Lord Jesus sealed it with their blood, thanks saw the resurrected Lord firsthand and died horrible deaths because they would not deny it.
We could only conclude that they were either lunatics or Jesus is the Risen Lord!!! 😀

Which is more likely: that they were lunatics, or that someone dead for three days came back to life?

How do you know the empty tomb is the one Jesus was buried in?

How do you know the disciples were given the opportunity to save their own lives by denying their beliefs?

I don’t believe him to be fraudulent.
His letters have been added too and some outright forged.
Paul is misunderstood and Peter often is misrepresented. People point to Peter as support for Paul but it was Peter, late in his life......shortly before his execution.....that said Paul was misunderstood because he writes things that are hard to understand and the unlearned twist to their destruction.

I’ve said many times if Paul is opposing Messiah in any way then he will answer for it before G-d.

The same argument is used by the followers of Mohammad and Smith. They have the new secret information too. And there’s is better because it more recent.

Nope I completely reject the idea that G-d had to turn to Paul because the Jews messed it up and G-d didn’t see it coming. Paul is not plan B.
Paul is teaching what’s important.....Justification threw Faith in Messiah......not legal observances of the law. That doesn’t mean that the law doesn’t exist. That’s the other part of Paul’s teaching that everyone ignores.
