If you try to reconcile Evolution and creation then did God make monkeys and fish and the animals that were involved in the evolutionary process in His image?

You are correct. Both cannot be true. I will take it a step farther the same can be said about a gap Theory and 6 day creation. If we can't believe the plane teaching of the Bible what can we believe?

Evolution can absolutely be true and be the method of creation.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

It’s the earth that brings forth the living creatures.
Adam and Eve could be real people. Adam and Eve could be allegory.
Neither possibility changes the reality of God.

Well I'm going to roll the dice since I have a hard time believing that a book written by men, edited and complied by men and used by men to control others is 100% the word of God.

I don't rape, rob, murder, commit adultery, lie ext. I donate to charities and generally leave people be, if that isn't enough so be it.

Hog, it's not about being good it's about being saved. I want you with Christian love and sincerity that you are headed down the wrong path.
Jesus is the only way to heaven. There is a literal burning hell where people spend eternity who do not know Christ.
Please just consider the reality of what I say.

I've been saved, baptized and believe. I just don't need a book or a guy begging for money on Sundays to confirm it.

Who baptized you since you can't trust a preacher?

It doesn't take a preacher to baptize someone although it was an ordained minister that did it. One of the few that I did respect.

The bible and what to trust and not to is an individual decision.

It is an individual decision, just because men are wicked that doesn't mean the Bible is not true. To be saved one must believe and not just believe anything but believe the report of the Bible. Baptism is your open profession to the world of your faith in Christ.
The church is very important for your spiritual growth.
Just because someone hurt you or wronged you, that doesn't mean that all preachers are Crooks and the Bible is not so.

You’re interpreting the Bible the way that suits you best. You’re clearly not any sort of at expert. Yet you spew your interpretation and everyone else is wrong or a lier. I have looked into this for a long time. And torn it apart in the original language with the lifestyle of the time in mind. If you disagree with my interpretation that’s ok because I’m certainly not the ultimate authority either. But my interpretation is clearly just as valid as yours
