D4H's 2017 NFL Draft Review (Best Picks, Best Drafts, and Predictions)

I think we're missing something and need to flip the script in our understanding of D4H in that he really does have a gift...at being wrong.

Really, think about it, if somebody gave you a list of possible outcomes how many of you think you could intentionally select the wrong answer more often than D4H does naturally?

Now, if you want to go more X Files about it, what if D4H actually has the ability to manipulate outcomes? What if he can actually make things unhappen merely by saying they will? For instance, what if Washington and USC were actually destined to win until D4H's DUFUS (Dynamic Universal Forced Unhappening Superpower) kept that from taking place?

Scary thought I know but can anyone deny the mounting evidence of someone being THAT wrong THAT often?

Did you watch the pregame? All the "experts" also picked Washington.

If I actually thought I was gonna be right on all my game picks or even most of them, I would be in Vegas right now making lots of money. I'm just doing my Lee Corso. Giving ya'll some game picks so that you can have some fun.

The only thing I hang my genius on is my player evaluations. So if Dobbs or Cam or Saquon don't live up to my projections then I'm concerned. I also feel I have good intuition on who will ultimately win championships. So I'm still 100% confident this is Georgia's year. If Georgia doesn't win it all, then I'll be concerned about my prediction and intituion.

But those other games, they're just guesses like everyone else does at this time of the year.

You picked us to win the last two years. That should be enough for you to know you are a moron. CBJ was bad but Saban wasn’t winning a title with us the last two years. You fail to understand how important depth is.

So OU weren't fired up to compete for a national title. But their QB has the sniffles? Oh, it's on now!

Maybe you don't follow sports enough but this always happens. The team you think has been weakened typically comes out with more fire.

Georgia is fine though. They'll still win comfortably. It just won't be the annihilation I envisioned earlier.

So Bosa having two great seasons to start his career is an outlier. you dismiss it and still call him a bust. Yet AK having a fantastic rookie year is proof that you were right about his greatness. Do you even realize how ridiculous you look?

This is where watching tape comes in. Most of Bosa's sacks are luck. He's not as dominant as those numbers suggest. While Alvin is as dominant as those numbers suggest.

That is why I see Alvin's production continuing to be elite while I see Bosa's numbers falling off.

Omg you just say the same **** no matter what facts are thrown at you

Bosa won defensive rookie of the year after missing the first 4 games! He was unlucky and still racked up 12 sacks and was recognized as the best lol

Not to mention he held out all of training camp

My NFL comparison for Joey Bosa before the draft was Aaron Kampman. He had back to back seasons where he recorded 15.5 sacks and 12.0 sacks.

Sometimes not so great players can have elite production.

2 stellar statistical years didn't make Aaron Kampman elite. And neither do 2 great statistical years make Joey Bosa elite. He's gotta do it for longer for me to not think it's a fluke. Cause when I watch him I don't see elite defensive end. I see Aaron Kampman 2.0.

Smh What’s the point

Can’t even admit winning rookie of the year is impressive after missing all that time lol

Kampman had his 2 good years in his 6th and 7th years in the league Bosa figured it right away if you can’t see the difference I’m not gonna bother trying to help can’t change your opinion on ****

You say Dobbs and Sutton just need time to be great well that’s the difference with Bosa he didn’t need that time to adjust to the nfl that’s the sign of an elite player that’s why you draft guys high in the first place you HOPE they can do what Bosa has been able to do

D4H you should stick to basketball. Your basketball evaluations are actually pretty good, basketball is my favorite sport. I’m confident in my basketball evaluations but I can admit with football I’ve been wrong a lot! I wasn’t thrilled my giants drafted Odell Beckham a few years ago and look how that’s turned out :)

You like how my #1 player in the 2017 draft (Jayson Tatum) is playing so far.

Also being a huge Bulls fan (I watch every game) Lauri will be what I thought he’d be, a more athletic Porzingis. He’s got perennial all star potential

I think Tatum has superstar potential reminds me of a young less polished Kobe. Next years draft is loaded, will be looked back at like the 03 draft several superstars like Ayton,Bagley, porter and Colin Sexton.

I like Ayton the best of the 2018 class. He looks like a franchise center in the mold of Patrick Ewing. Also don't sleep on Mo Bamba. He's basically gonna be a surefire Defensive Player of the Year candidate in the NBA for many years to come. His physical tools in terms of size, length, and athleticsm are rare. Rudy Gobert type prospect. Bagley is another Chris Bosh. And I gotta see more Colin Sexton. He's tough but I don't know who he compares to.

I agree with all of this. Sexton is a scoring point guard, he’s kind of tough to put a comparison to. He needs to work on his passing though, he’s bad about getting tunnel vision and throwing up constested layups and shots but his potential is through the roof.

How’d you know I was referencing you? Did the “schizophrenic” give it away or was it the “making out with himself”?

Well considering it’s almost 4AM here where I’m at and there aren’t many people posting this late I’d say common sense gives away who you’re talking about. Which is cool, I couldn’t care less what some clown on a message board has to say. I like his basketball evaluations, his football ones I disagree with much more often.

Come on d4h any time I give you a good answer you seem to duck it

You obviously didn’t read his posts in the BB forum; he knows less about basketball than he does football. He didn’t even know basic aspects of the college game.

Also, raise your hand if you really believe D4H is just “having fun” with his picks.

We all know if he had gotten them right, he’d be bragging about how smart he is.
