Hey everyone. I know none of you know me very well as I am primarily a lurker, but in my mind you kinda are my Volnation family after the Gruden thing. My dad died a few hours ago. Sitting here trying not to feel the grief or still in shock maybe and stumbled upon the open tab for this thread on my phone.

My dad now joins my brother, who died a few years ago, rooting for the Vols from heaven. Strange they are both gone from my life now. Please take every chance to tell your loved ones you love them! You never know what is going to happen. I did not get to see my dad for his birthday 12/20 or on Christmas for things that could not be helped. We were finally going to get together literally this morning for belated holiday celebration. Presents are in the car, but it did not get to happen. I know he loved me, was proud of me, and I told him everyday I loved him. That knowledge will help me during this difficult time immensely. God bless all of you and your own families. And Go VOLS from Bert (my dad) and Keith (my brother)!!

I feel for you Tux. I lost my father and sister fairly close together years ago. It takes time. I feel their presence often. Sometimes I cry, sometimes I smile. Prayers.

I'm gonna go watch the Preds, the best instate shot at a championship but most under appreciated team we have.
Y'all need to find some religion and get ya'll a whole mess of Forsberg and Johansen.
