D4H's 2017 NFL Draft Review (Best Picks, Best Drafts, and Predictions)

No. I've never really been impressed with Amari Cooper just by watching him. I've only been harping on his stats because I was shocked by how bad they were. I don't care about stats but I know y'all do. That is why I included them.

For me it's all eye test and Amari Cooper has been very average IMO since he stepped foot into the NFL.

Then I'd suggest watching him more and/or getting your eyes checked. He has everything you want in a WR.

Just look at his username. Somehow a guy with the name "Dobbs4Heisman", who terribly predicted Dobbs winning the Heisman, getting drafted in the 1st, and would be a factor early in his career (saying Ben would get hurt) preaches to us about how we are just idiots living in his world.

Now he's backed off, saying Dobbs will get the job in 2019, uses Butch as an excuse for Dobbs and basically every UT prediction he ever made (which is partially accurate tbh) and continues the erratic predictions as if he as never been wrong.
Tbh if Dobbs had been with urban Meyer or a good coach he probably would have won the Heisman. He would have at least been in New York. He came up 17 yards short of Manning’s single season yards record in butch jones’ middle school offense

Nope. Corey Davis plays with a garbage QB. He's been slowed a little by injury but he's well on his way to greatness.

I'm not backing off that Jerry Rice prediction one bit. Corey Davis is that special.

Jarvis Landry has played with multiple garbage QBs hasn’t stopped him from being great

Corey Davis is a rookie. Give him time. I actually watch the games, I don't go off stats. Corey Davis is what I thought he was before the draft. He's a stud. His breakout game will come soon.

Unfortunately, Davis is having issues understanding his route assignments. As a Titans fan, I hope this is a coaching issue that will get fixed if and when Mularkey and Robiskie are canned.

But uggh, right now Davis is totally lost, which is not good for a top 5 pick.

If you're not using stats to define this breakout game, how will we know when it happens?

200 catches and 2,722 yards in your first 3 years is way above average. You obviously don’t know what that word means

You just keep bringing the lolz

He uses words like "special" and "elite" and "all-pro talent" as if he is qualified to hand out those labels .. hyperbole dripping off the edges of the page. But again, he isn't qualified in any way no matter how times he says "I watch the games" or "I study film" .. it's like having having my plumber telling me he is good with rebuilding my F150 engine because he watched a lot of YouTube.

Again, his "I know talent" statements are backed up by even less than the US Currency. He has no qualifications, no resume and no eye to use in his "eye test."

Jared Goff is so damn good! Opposing DC’s have had all season to figure him out and he keeps getting better and better! Barring injury, cemented as top 3 QB in the league for 10-15 years imo. :)

Remember Dak Prescott last year? See him this year?

That's what happens people have an entire off-season to study you.

Goff will be exposed next year. Just wait and see.

Marshon Lattimore gonna win DROY.

Anyone wanna guess what D4H thought of him?

When I rank these players I'm not ranking them based on who will be the best for one year or two. It's ranking guys over an entire career. Marshon Lattimore is an injury risk like Deshaun Watson.

I simply don't believe those two players will play very long at a high level because of their issues with durability. Good for Lattimore having a lot of success early on. He simply won't have as good a career as Cam Sutton.

Is Todd Gurley gonna miss half the season? If not the rams will be good again next year

And honestly what is Goff doing that is gimmicky and gonna suddenly be easier to stop next year? All he’s doing is showing why he was the #1 pick his arm

Rams are loaded and have a good coaching staff they ain’t going anywhere

Jason Garrett on the other hand has proven most of his career to be average at best

The cowboys also suck at WR Dez has fallen off a cliff since his big contract and Witten should retire

Rams defense>cowboys too

Another great comparison from d4h

Funny, I thought teams had the chance to study Goff this past offseason... He’s not a rookie and started last year.

Watson led the league in passing touchdowns as a rookie before he got hurt it’s not like he had to run around to be effective

Not to mention he got hurt in practice lol so yea you don’t even know how it happened or what it looked like

Yeah, that only really works between years 1 and 2. I think he’ll be worse, but it’ll just be him playing more to his level, not really people “figuring him out” IMO

I think Dez is fine, Dak is just more conservative in forcing him the ball than Romo was.

Zero 100 yard games this year

He gets no separation and isn’t near as good on jump balls as he used to be

He definitely isn’t a viable #1 WR anymore

And then there’s this

And that ain’t the first time dak has called him out
