I’ll see if there’s a way to watch it on my phone. I’m always game to watch sports. I get super depressed when football season ends.

It’s on NBC sports, I believe. Best thing about the Premier League: Starts in August and lasts until May.

Do you make people call the field, “the pitch,” and their cleats, “boots?” Are you one of those guys?

I do say pitch sometimes. I don’t say boots.

I did my semester abroad in London and got hooked. The neighborhood I lived in was strongly pro-Tottenham. Pubs on Saturdays were so much fun.

I am!

I coached and reffed AYSO, and I delighted in confusing the football daddies. (American football.) Oh, and it's offside, not offsides.

It was always fun when I picked the strongest athletes and put them at center mid or (gasp sweeper), because that's who runs the game, along with the keeper. The daddies went nuts, because they wanted their boys on offense. Until they saw how their kid ran the show...

The most comfy sports shoes I ever had were my Reebok boots.

Also enjoyed red-carding obstreperous parents and sending to the parking lot. :)

My wife and son have tattoos. I do not.

I’m the only one in my family. On my birthday, my mom posted a pic of me a photographer friend had taken. One of her facebook friends made some comment about being a beautiful photo had I not ruined myself with tattoos. Good lord, look out. My good Christian mama ripped that lady a new one for like 5 paragraphs. My sister sent me the screenshots bc I don’t have Facebook. I was like, awwww.

We’re friends now.

A strong midfield is key to controlling possession.

Most strikers are just finishers and not much else. Only a few can actually take over a game. A great center mid can definitely take over one.

And it is offside, not offsides.

I go back and read some of my stuff sometimes and I wonder where would I be right now if I weren't so hardheaded.

I'm a firm believer that we are where we are supposed to be. That things happen when we are ready for them. Maybe you were too footlooose and fancy free to.give it an honest try back then but now would be the right time?

I can see where I wasn't ready at the time. As good as they were I honestly believe that I could write even better now. I have more life experience to draw from and apply to my stories.

I may just give it a shot. What's the worst that can happen? No one likes it? No biggie. I wrote mostly for myself anyway. Lol

Well, bless your heart, because I doubt that my input would be very valuable, but bring it on.

* goes for a refill *

Can schizophrenia, schizotypal disorder, or schizoaffective disorder occur co-morbidly with MPD?

D#1 (5'10") was keeper and D#2 (6 feet) was sweeper.

Pretty much nobody got by them.

When you have a strong midfield, especially on the defensive side, you push the game up over the halfline and keep your opponents pinned on their defensive side. Then you just hit and hit and hit until something happens.

My forwards tended to be smart, pudgy little ballet girls who were kinda anxious and lacking in self-confidence, but they were obedient and could be taught how offside worked. They just marked the assistant refs, waited for a pass, and them boom. Although with them, it was more of a nudge than a boom, but it still went in. Since we played up all the time, they didn't have to run much.

My midfielders were the ADHD kids, because (being ADHD myself) I knew they would never listen to any coaching anyway and would just run around endlessly, so hey, you're a midfielder.

And then the backs were the smart and fit kids. Once they understood how to push up, they loved it.

Kids' soccer rocks.
