She probably already knows. No one in the family can keep a secret. And yes, I’ll be happy to be home. I’m more grounded in Tennessee. One more night shift for you this week or tonight and tomorrow night?

To be honest, I haven’t really looked since thanksgiving. No one typically does a lot of hiring at the end of the year. I’m going to try to start telecommuting with my current job in the mean time, I think.

That sounds civilized. I work remotely for San Francisco from my dining room office in Asheville.

I told my co-worker today that it's probably a good thing, or I'd have already come out of my chair and headed down the hall to bust some heads.

Nah, you don’t seem so bad. I think I could stand you for a couple of days at least.

My family is insane though. I really dislike the holidays. Bunch of traveling and people sitting around making forced conversation with other people they have nothing in common with and only see twice a year.

ITs really just us. We’re too blunt for public consumption. MY sister married the most laid back dude on earth, thankfully.
