'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

And Josh Dobbs was a Georgia kid who broke his commitment to ASU. Is he weak?

remind me what years his dad played at Georgia...sad thing there is no way in hell i grow up a Vol fan and have that opportunity and go somewhere else. The college game is crazy that in 2 years you can turn into a powerhouse. All it takes is the right mixture of talent and coaching.

Unless he wins a National Championship at another school, I think he will regret not signing with UT. Clemson would be way more understandable than Georgia though.

I would be really surprised if he didn't go with one of his top three schools. I am holding out hope though. Trey in year 2 and Cade would make our offense so much better.

If we encourage and expect kids to leave their homestates to attend UT, some who were committed to homestate schools it's a little unfair to be so sour on Mays for doing the exact same thing. Parents aren't the ones attending college, don't see how that is even an issue.

Manning would have gone to Ole Miss if everyone stayed home.

We are Tennessee. I don't care about fairness or being reasonable. I want to get to the point where, like Alabama, we pick our 25 THEN let the rest of the nation have the leftovers.

Good thing kids leave their states or we would be sucking hind tit to UF, UGA every year, and thats a fact both produce about 5 times the SEC level prospects as Tennessee does.

4 posts in and I'll give that a like.

Obviously most teams want to take the best players from their state, but we're relying on a whole buttload of kids every year to leave THEIR home state to help UT be competitive. That's just the nature of it when it comes to Tennessee.

Really Cade, an every year SEC East opponent of the school you grew up loving. Don't get it.

Apologies for the wall of text in the earlier post.:peace2:
