Five-star edge rusher Sav’ell Smalls looked to be heavily considering Florida earlier this spring. After the Chris Steele fiasco, the Gators fell back a bit in the recruitment of the Burien (Wash.) Kennedy Catholic standout. It’s hard to get a grasp on who the real players are in Smalls’ recruitment, that’s coming from people that have spoken to him and colleges recruiting him. One team that has caught some traction lately is Tennessee, but we will see if the Vols remain a factor as this recruitment stretches out.
