I have a question about the Austin Thomas hire, is CJP responsible for hiring him or would the AD make the call. Is Austin Thomas's job part of the football staff or more administrative?...just curious.

Tenngirl I am sorry for your loss and everything you are going through. Someone once told me that God never puts on you more than you can handle. But sometimes I question that.

Just know, that all of us here are in your corner and sending thoughts and prayers your way! You have an internet Vol family here and you are never truly alone!

I think everyone didn't mind the "3rd Down for What" song except the old bluehairs that don't like anything new. But it go so overplayed it was insane. If you're ahead (or behind) by three touchdowns, the song loses the effect. But in a close game like Oklahoma 2015? You want the crowd in a frenzy.

Let's the POTS band play something for normal 3rd downs. But in big situations, get the crowd hyped.

I don't believe that.

God sometimes tests us with more than we can handle so we learn to pull from His well of strength and knowledge- look at Job.

Needless to say I'm praying for you, Tenngirl!

Bashing people as well for their thoughts or beliefs one way or the other on here is simply unacceptable. People are allowed to have their opinions it doesn’t give anyone the right to belittle someone over them.
