Held on to butch too long, tanked season and made the history books in the worst way, completely choked on the coaching hire process, ended up with a “ I’ll wait and see but could have done worse “ coach. These kids have witnessed a terrible Tennessee team for their young adult life. It’s the equivalent to getting a job offer out of college paying $175,000 and potential management role... or taking $45,000 with equity that may or may not turn into the next google or Facebook. Some kids want it now even if it means missing out on something potentially game changing in the future.

They’ve had the most consistent DL in the country outside of Alabama. Might be just as good honestly

Meh. There are players just as good if not better. We'll get ours. It looks worse on the surface because he's a 5 star. I think he's a solid player but probably slightly overrated and don't think he's worth all the fuss.

In seriously hope Tennessee gets a shot at Clemson in the next 3-4 years and kicks the dog**** out of them...

Pretty clear he isn’t coming. Knox Catholic is in the Clemson pipeline. Their coach transferred from TN to Memphis in college. I don’t think we’ll have much luck there unless he’s gone.

I just hoped Pruitt can get us a game or two against Clemson in the future. I’d love to see real Vols whip these guys. Oh wait Amari Rodgers never plays. I hope he can get off the bench long enough to see the game from the sideline.

Cade's been flashing those paw print gloves for weeks. He'd probably be taunting much more if his parents let him. The concern isn't losing Cade; it's how successfully Clemson is using negative peer recruiting to recruit TN kids.

These former TN commits and legacies have turned viciously against UT. They call Catholic HS Clemson Catholic and think they have it on lockdown.

We’re gonna be just fine without this guy on the OL. Let this thread die and be happy with who we have and who we’re gonna get. We’re in on a lot of JUCO OL so we’re gonna be better off anyway. Guys like Trey Smith deserve the attention, not recruits that don’t wanna be here.

It's a shame, but going 0-8 in the SEC will do that when you have a perennial playoff contender on your turf.

If Pruitt can show signs of turning the ship around, it will fix a lot of that.

Time to turn up the heat on Knoxville Catholic? Not a good look for them to be sending so many kids to Clemson. Catholic is crapping the bed here.

Cade will most likely end up at Tennessee. Ya'll gotta stop freaking out. I swear it's like you guys think he wears Clemson pajamas to bed or something. He is just on a high right now because Clemson is pampering and praising him. Give it sometime to let Fulmer and Pruitt talk to him and convince him to really think things over and not make a rash decision based on feelings and emotions. Hopefully the mood changes in here when he doesn't partake in early signing period.
