'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

I bet you feel like a big man don't you? You think you are awesome because you got to correct somebody's spelling error. Everybody makes spelling errors and typos sometimes. That is why even the greatest writers in history had editors look at their work. I am an English major and get paid to write and edit. It always tickles me when I see idiots online trying to invalidate an argumemt because of one spelling error or typo.
I'm gonna need you to calm the hell down

-Price on today’s visit

The good part is we have a staff of some of the best recruiters in the nation. If it’s a half point shot just imagine it’s Steph Curry or James Harden taking that shot. Still a hard shot but all the tools to make it. Let’s hope the shot is nothing but net.

The kid is obviously very talented, but it seems like he is a liability in a lot of ways. He is a hot head and hurt his team with stupid penalties this year. I watched Catholic on tv, and saw him go running in well after a play was dead to jump in a pile. That was dangerous and stupid. That is the kind of stuff we could expect with him if he comes to UT. I had a Maryville fan tell me that Mays without a doubt costed Catholic that game with his stupid untimely penalties.

I don’t understand why it’s difficult to get him back. Price saying a half court shot. Dude grew up a Vol fan, was committed for 2 years, then left because Butch is terrible. Well, Butch is fired, the new coaching staff is excellent, what’s the problem?

My guess is he’s silently committed to Clemson already and Austin knows it. So he thinks it’ll be difficult to get him back. I don’t though, Fulmer and CJP won’t stop until he commits.

But if he ends up going elsewhere, oh well, bye then.

Actually, timing wasn’t due to Butch, he decommitted well after Butch was fired. It had to be something else.

My hope is that when Phil and CJP do in home (heard that today) that Phil explains what was going on behind scenes causing so much disfunction, and assures him that today is a new day and we’re on an upward trajectory that his signing could make that much steeper. Then CJP needs to outline his strategic plans to get us to the top quickly, how Cade fits in there, how he will be a Tennessee hero along with the greats like Andrew Jackson, Davy Crockett, General Neyland, Johnny Majors, Peyton Manning, and that gentleman sitting to his right, and finally how all this culminates to a top 5 draft position in 3-4 years.

My memory, is that he DE-committed and then Jones was let go. I felt that this was one of the "nails in the coffin" for the coach when this big fish got away.

Please correct me if needed, as I have been saying this for a while.

If he does go elsewhere, I think he'll regret it when he gets a little older.

It was said that Mays had decommited weeks before he made it official to the coaches.
