My update. As I said before Gruden was at top of list. PF did talk to him. As of 7 PM yesterday he had not said no. He did tell them at the beginning to go on with the search while he considered his options. So I took that as what your hearing now about other coaches is not the end.

Would this line up with the Wallace report that Tee was contacted today about a "position " on a staff and no clarification of position.

This is what I’ve been saying, if it is him, they’re prob having to jump through hoops trying to figure out all his endorsements, contracts, etc. It would take WAY longer to hire someone like him than anyone else.

Latest that I got on Pruitt is that their hung up on him coaching for Bama in the playoffs and Sexton had to leave NYC, regarding his other clients.

So he missed the Tuesday deadline but now he has countered? Nothing against you, not buying the info you were told.

Things change quickly. But again he has requested another meeting and I don't know what came of it. Gruden speaks you listen.

Gruden was and is my 1st choice, but Pruit is a big time hire. He can get it done in recruiting and maybe more importantly he played a big role in player development at Alabama. Player freaking development guys. He is a good backup plan to Gruden. If either are announced we should celebrate. It could be exciting on Rocky Top soon. Let’s get on board with this option. Phil knows what he’s doing.
