So he missed the Tuesday deadline but now he has countered? Nothing against you, not buying the info you were told.

He may have had cold feet and just ended up saying no and now that it looks like we’re about to hire a coach, he’s had second thoughts. Its not too far fetched. This could have been weighing on him and he may of truly went back and forth on it in his head a few times and ultimately decided since he wasn’t 100% sure that it was best to say no.

You know, sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone... not the greatest analogy but I hope someone gets what I’m trying to say.

Honey, no offense but that’s why it’s called the Gruden Thread. Everyone is so battle worn and tired from fighting trolls and the coaching search. While you seem to be out on Gruden, others aren’t. So, they don’t want to discuss other candidates if they feel there’s a glimmer of hope.

We’ve all talked about different candidates in here since day 1 as fall backs. Just because you don’t like someone’s fallback, doesn’t mean it isn’t allowed as it has been since day 1. Yes, I want Gruden too! I just try to be positive about other potentials! Nothing wrong with this.

No, look at my posting history. That is completely false. I created a second account to come participate in the Gruden fan fare awhile back as I lost my original acct after the 2012 debacle of a search. I’ve been pro Gruden from day 1.
