My update. As I said before Gruden was at top of list. PF did talk to him. As of 7 PM yesterday he had not said no. He did tell them at the beginning to go on with the search while he considered his options. So I took that as what your hearing now about other coaches is not the end.

Just texted one of my 'Bama buddies and told him it looks like we have a shot at getting Pruitt as our next coach ... he immediately texted back "Hope Not", yes, I'd rather have Gruden too, just thought I'd share what some 'Bamanians think of him ...

What concerns me is the fact I seen someone mention a "budget" when it was said there wasn't one maybe that's why gruden has to think it over because the money that was there before was what he had demanded

Good. Pruitt would be a questionable gain for us and a legitimate loss for Alabama...a yearly opponent.

i think they're just making more room in the budget to get gruden...expect to see the "resignations" of about 11 more head coaches
