The Rush Probst coaching tree is really amazing. Pruitt, Lindsey, Bill Clark, the Jax St HC, Kevin Sherrer at UGA, and lots of guys at smaller colleges. Lots of high schools in GA have hired his assistants as HC's. The Walton (a super wealthy suburban Atlanta AAAAAAA school) HC quit last year to become the Colquitt DC because he has his eye on college down the road. Probst has a checkered past, but Pruitt should hire him as a consultant of something if he gets the job. He has Colquitt in the AAAAAAA finals again this year with an almost all FR and SO team. He was supposedly in line for a job with Bama when the stuff broke with the 2nd family.

Guys this is Steele’s conference winning percentage. I have no confidence in the man who would even interview this guy.

Given what I know about Rush Propst, it seems Pruitt learned about a lot more than just football from him.

That's crazy. If anyone got Rush into college it's going to be Pruitt but he may be better served leaving in Hs to send all his players over

It's weird. The worse we are the more people hate us. Figured people would just feel sorry for us by now. But nope. More hatred. I would imagine our debacle has prevented some domestic violence in Bama over the past decade.

"Baby, the next time you think bout throwing somethin' at me, just remember Tennessee and how they ain't gon' beat Bama for the next 20 years!"

I've actually experienced mostly the opposite. It is a sickening sort of pity that I've encountered among them.

Most of all.... I want a coach that has the opportunity to welcome Phil Fulmer into the locker room to lead a rousing rendition of ..."don't give a damn bout the whole state of Alabama"...beacause we just beat their sorry asses.

Pruitt (Bama grad or not) could possibly be the kind of ******* I'm looking for in a coach.

Edit.....seriously I can say ass, but not ass h0le?

As a result of this coaching search I discovered more about Mike Leach.

I will be a casual fan of his moving forward. Interesting guy that knows offense for sure.

Would hope he gets a shot at Oregon.

Are we absolutely sure Pruitt is getting a 3rd interview?

Seems to me he might just be getting the last interview of round 2.

Make your feelings known to those making the decision please!

From a poster on VQ...

My First “Insider” Post (On Pruitt)

I live 10 minutes from Rainsville, Al where Jeremy grew up and coached for his dad. Did some calling to some of locals who went to school with him, played high school football with him, and close to family. Word I get is he has let family know that he feels very confident after yesterday that he would get the job. Also interesting that his Dad said they were not surprised by the 2nd interview. Fulmer also led Jeremy to believe that an announcement would be made tomorrow at some point regardless of who the coach is. Not much useful info but thought I would share. This as much insider information that I’ve ever had and afraid it’s not much new news to offer. My wife has some family very close to his and has promised to let me know if they hear how tonight’s interview goes.

You think Pruitt’s the kind of guy that will introduce a new third down song? Or a new uniform combo?

“Will play in SILENCE!” “Orange white! Only black will be our shoes and the souls of our victims!”

Me too. Guy I work with is a huge Ducks fan, so we talk/text football all the time. It has been a bit sobering for him as he hasn't been used to a losing team. I tell him you get used to it. I follow the Ducks because I live here in Portland and its hard not too. Definitely hope Leach or Kiffin end up at Oregon,
