Imo Pruitt would have been a good hire from the very beginning. He has the potential to do what Kirby did at Georgia

Honestly, I think Pruitt is on the same level as Kirby from a pure defensive coaching standpoint. I also think Pruitt might very well be a better recruiter.

Unfortunately I agree. We can't hand pick our coach. Whoever Fulmer hires we have to get behind them whether we like them or not.

I agree. We achieved something great with the initial denial. At some point backing the program must occur.

I'm not naive enough to believe it will happen. Look at a few of the responses on here, and Wes has been great this search. This place is child's play compared to Twitter.

How do you know he keeps adding new names? Once again we're acting all the info there is to know and all that's happening or will happen is what's said by our trusted sports writers.

It's very possible he has had his list from the get-go and as it unfolds the reporters are finding out (or think they're finding out; I'm not convinced they know as much as some here think they do) and report it.

Even after these reporters have been wrong over and over, we still hang on every word they say and make judgments accordingly.

This is all true. We are just going by what's reported. We don't know if all these coaches that got hired today turned us down instead of move on to other Steele, Tucker, and Pruitt. How often they've talked or what, just trying to read tea leaves and piece it together. It's all assumptions
