There are so many better choices out there, that are actually still interested in this job (even though it has become literally a circus) and we are literally trying to find the worst fit possible. It's almost like the program is deliberately being sabotaged.
I'm over it and am not going to try and accept mediocrity again for the third straight time.

We just haven't hit rock bottom yet. I thought that we could get no worse but, I was wrong. Until the fans completely check out, nothing will change.

Just like Venables, Tucker removes one side of the ball as a question mark. Venables has proven his recruiting ability beyond question. Tucker appears to be on the verge of doing the same. They both appear they can be really good hires as future HC's with strong upside. The key is the quality of the staffs they can bring. We have seen first hand how the lack of player development can kill the program.

Sigh. Man I wish so much Fulmer and others would get over it and hire Kiffin. He is about as close to a sure thing to.have us winning again as there is that would come here in a second. Makes me sad

His off field stuff eliminates him. Apparently there’s a lot more that went on than I have heard. Someone on the radio, can’t remember who, said Fulmer wouldn’t consider Kiffin because he knows what went on when Kiffin was here. The fact that Fulmers daughters were at Ut when Kiffin was here eliminates him from consideration. So apparently Fulmer knows a lot happened off the field that I havent heard. Cant hire a guy like that if it’s true

I mean Jimmy sends a text message to Cut yesterday - who has been ruled out of this search more than once and literally has not been rumored once to be back in play. So dumb. I think Jimmy may have had a caller ask and Jimmy decided to message Cut to show off that he had his number.

So Jimmy took something completely irrelevant that is now a day old and he wrote an article about it today. How out of touch is that?

I love Jimmy and I think he is a pro but these coaching searches move way too fast for him.

So I'm beginning to think that the other interview was a big name and Hubbs doesn't believe that there is a chance so he doesn't name the person so we don't get our hopes up
