Can't believe for a minute that there was an uprising and boosters making plays to remove Currie and Haslams so we could put Fulmer in place to do the exact same thing, completely tank the program. If people fill the stands for another round of garbage, then you are fools and the national media was right. This is just sad.

I will wait for staff and otherwise before judging Steele. Far from my first choice

Yeah, that could soften the blow for me. A coach can only be as good as who he surrounds himself with.

It would still be a very hard sell to fans and recruits.

Leach, no Leach
Tee, no Tee
Miles, no Miles
Morris, no Morris
Brohm, no Brohm
Venables, no Venables
Pruitt, no Pruitt
Tucker, no Tucker

We are at the bottom again... epic fail -- Steele.
Kiss any and every chance on recruits goodbye boys and girls.
Hey, but we got Phil at the wheel, so everything is going to be great!!!! Wait, NM.

We about to hire a guys who went 9-36, won 1 conference game in 4 years, and hasn’t sniffed another HC job since.

Was also let go twice since then as a DC at a major program.

60 years old and hasn’t been a top recruiter in years.

This is the final nut punch for Vols all over the world

I honestly don't believe they have not reached out to Tee in some shape, form, or fashion to gauge his interest. May not have been up front but someone has talked to him. I just don't know if he is interested in taking the job at this point. Until Tee comes out in person and says they have not reached out to me I just won't believe it.

Tee may very well see his situation at USC hurting him since he really isn't in charge. If he came here and did well under a Defensive head coach his stock would be much higher

Also won’t judge Steele based on coaching a dumpster fire program 15 years ago.

If he wanted to be a head coach at a major program, he should've proved himself at a smaller program like Charlie Strong and Lane Kiffin. Otherwise, there's no justification for hiring a failed head coach.
