Just a general clarification, as the confusion continues:

My username is VolNExile. No U, no T, no upper-case I.

My avatar is an orange sunset, not Neyland Stadium. For a while, it was a grinch smile. For a long time before that, it was a bright yellow sunshine pump. (OK, the pump was rusty, with bright yellow suns.)

I just watched ESPN @noon. The female anchor after doing a segment with Gruden called him Jon. Last night, Sean, during the broadcast, kept calling him coach. The late nite anchor, after the game, also called him coach with a big smile on his face when saying he'd be in Miami next Monday. I think the folks at ESPN knew last night he was leaving and were just F*****g with him.

As far as no announcement, I'll bet Fulmer made it clear that nobody besides him makes the biggest announcement in UT football in the last two decades.

Just a thought on the PV gifs: last night was a very awkward dinner scene where the host tied together a bunch of people who didn't necessarily like each other: Thus it was referencing Peyton's rumored dinner last night, which no doubt could have been a bit awkward.

This one is a dinner where Walt is wedging his way back into his home, forcing his wife to accept the new reality, and he brought a guest who is the personification of that new reality. Could this be alluding to the same folks dining again, say today at the HOF event, and there will be a new guest? Thus Jesse (the guy with the water for those that haven't seen the show) is Gruden being present today and being presented to Haslam?

Now this makes sense - maybe because I want it to! 👀
