Losing is an image so is winning.Really? Worried about his image? You either love Tennessee, want to coach here, or you don't.
None of us give a damn about the image. We are proud of what happened last week. We know the truth about what was going on and I'm sure Gruden does too.
That sort of pisses me off... image... really?
All of this.
LSU looked stupid letting him go. Sure he's eccentric....but he did nothing at LSU but win at a high level.
He ran his course there, like a lot of coaches do after 10+ years. A fresh opportunity and challenge may be just what he needs. He's vastly more qualified than anyone else on the board.
Paul, I love you, we all do. However, after following this obsessively for over 2 months now, I need words instead of gifs. My brain is fried.
I know I wasn't around much last week because I was on vacation, but check mrmax's stats and you'll see that the Gruden thread is all I've done for months.
Please use words.

Win and no one will care.
Gruden will win and so will we. The Schianomo will become ancient history.
No...not at all. He's who I want.
Miles is just the most acceptable backup. I don't understand the reluctance to accept him, and the willingness to look at the B-listers who've proven nothing from two years at smaller schools.
That's all.
A lot of people tend to forget about Jon's ego. While it brought him success, as a coach you have to have somewhat of an ego. It can also cause other problems.
