Not surprised. Probably half-truths in what he said. But I always think a large portion of what we see on social media is either agents putting stuff out there to create leverage or speculative stuff that gets spun out of context.

For example, I do not personally believe any direct contact was ever made with Doeren, and do not believe there has been any direct attempt to gage Fuente's interest. Could there have been back door conversations between agents & reps -maybe. But I'm skeptical of anything I've read about direct contacts.

Fulmer will make a solid hire. It may not be a Leach or Kiffin hire but he wants someone he can work with to restore the program back to where it should be. He clearly wants Tennessee guys on the staff. Rest assured, he won’t be taking a vacation during this search and loves UT Football more than anything.

Let’s hope Gruden agrees and if not, let’s support Miles, Morris, or whoever he decides is best for the program.

Listening to Will West this morning, it sounds like the AD’s office has been in disarray for years. Hopefully Fulmer can change that.

You lost me at Morris... Will not support that hire no matter who the AD is.

Probably not. I'm satisfied that we have bent over backwards to provide everything within our power to entice him here. The timing was right, the money reportedly absurd, the staffing allowance historic in scope. If none of that lures him, it's on him. And that's ok....I came into this wanting us to TRY, to swing for the fences for once. There is evidence we are doing that.

Personally I believe we'll know, yes or no, tomorrow....just my opinion. I don't think writing Bev would influence anything but her blood pressure.

If I could ask a question or two?

1) has PM been involved with the JG deal?
2) if not, has PM alignment w/Haslam made the JG deal harder for us to get done?(JG has less interest without PM involvement)
