That Booster list is really outdated or something. Because, Haslam (I know I know) would be on the list, Ergen, Anderson, and Kao. They have all donated to the athletics and academics side of the school.

Serious question from a non tech dinosaur. Is there a way to see responses to my comments without have to read through pages and pages. We will be on another thread by the time I get back on here.

Can you give us anymore insight on what you was talking about before?

Then, on the run, threw back across the field, so perfect it he could’ve easily dropped it in butch’s turnover trash can. Dropped it right in over the top for a touchdown.

Too bad Eagles too dumb to challenge that play by seattle

Ok, so we know Gruden was at a steakhouse tonight.
We know Fulmer has talked to Les Miles.

Les Miles likes to eat grass.
Cows like to eat grass.
Jon Gruden likes to eat cows.

Gruden > Miles
Gruden to the hill confirmed.

I go away a couple of hours and you guys decide to scrap everything and just hire Miles?

Thats what im saying. We had 10 coaches hired last week and hadnt given up hope. Everyone wants a good hire. Les seems like the most logic, most likely, most believable hire. So everyone thinks Les. If they only knew, its going to be Gruden.

Hopefully Gruden knows being an announcer is not the ticket, quote unquote easy way out

Most of us aren’t wired like successful coaches, for the most part we look for the easiest job that pays the most money. But if that had been the goal, they never would have gotten into coaching.

TV’s a great job that pays well, but sooner or later most coaches want to get another challenge. Gruden is ready for another challenge. GRUDEN IS READY TO COME TO THE HILL! VERY SOON!

Let's be clear. Up to this point the total budget for coaches appears to be in the $10 to $11 million range including assistants. We aren't going to spend Jimbo Fisher/Nick Saban money while we are in buyout limbo.

My pure guess is a $10 million cap for all coaches going into a building program with a bit of wiggle room for "extraordinary hires". Gruden, Patterson, Peterson, and anybody else at $8 to $11 million a year were never a real option. If you look at the search through this lens, it makes more sense. We are going to get someone like Miles, Pruitt or Steele who we can bring in for around $5 million a year including buyout.
I guess there broke. Damn I can't believe we put 100,000 in the stands, buy there Tennessee merchandise, donate millions and we can't pay a great coach 8 or 10 million to make us great again. Pay the fricking money and get Gruden or Paterson.
