"We tracked down Fulmer and determined he's been shopping for a new Christmas tree at Hobby Lobby. We expect him to begin interviewing candidates as early as Wednesday. I cannot rule Kevin Steele's name out at this time."

I don't think Fulmer can afford to think outside the box. He can't take any gambles.

Miles + all-star staff is the closest thing we've got to a sure thing. Especially if you bring in Tee as OC/associate head coach.

Would dominate in-state recruiting. Goodbye, Clemson. Hope you enjoy Higgins. You're not getting anymore.

The next 3-4 years needs to be all about building the program back up to respectability. Getting it back on solid footing. Then had it off to Tee when we're locked and loaded with well-developed talent that knows how to win ball games.

If Tee is solid, we're set for a long time.

This. If Les/tee option works, you have a 10+ year run lined up.

I'm sure he could do it though. Cutcliffe was a TN assistant for 9 years before he switched to QB's. He had never coached the position before.

Very well could be. I think people are moving a bit too fast though.

Fulmer not being on campus doesn't mean he's out to offer the job to someone. More likely he's just doing his first round of interviews.

If he's not in the office I would think he has identified his choice is doing his recruiting pitch to his top candidate and hammering out the details

Maybe the Les/Martin plan is his established floor and he is looking up now while he's MIA.
