Philip is "Miles" ahead of this situation.
We aren't dealing with any ordinary everyday run of the mill AD at UT this time around.

We need to put pressure on Fulmer like we did Currie and the Haslams. A mediocre hire like Les Miles is UNACCEPTABLE.

It doesn't matter who the person making the decision is. We saw Peyton trying to force Schiano down our throats. Just because Fulmer is who he is doesn't mean we should trust him.

We need Fulmer to hire Gruden. PERIOD. Make Gruden turn us down publicly.

me too! Richt will always do well for the Canes. He is killing recruiting right now with all the kids from South Florida and with FSU and Gators being down right now helps his cause even more with recruiting. Richt can have top 10 classes every year just by snagging kids out of Columbus, St. Thomas, American Heritage, Northwestern. Booker T, Killian, Southridge, Carol City, etc...

I know I’ll have people disagree with me, but there is a reason that no other school has contacted Miles. He is a little scatter brained and coaches don’t really like working with him. Nice guy but hard to work with someone who is clear and changes his mind all the time.

I have not been able to keep up as much in the last 2 or 3 days, can anyone tell me if ATL or Beav have had any new or old info about what is next.

Miles would be a disappointing end to all this. I’m afraid it’s a strong possibility, though.

I’m pretty sure PF hasn’t gotten where he is in life by being pressured by other’s opinions. And that’s why he’s going to be just fine handling this search.

I’m sure that Gruden is first on his list. The most positive thing here is that we will get an answer from Gruden one way or the other. They don’t call PF the great fisherman for nothing. If he lands him —- awesome. If not, I trust he’ll find us a great HC.

"Hutch7 and I are best friends and he was my high school QB. We both went separate directions to college and don’t live in same area now. We both have different contacts. We fact check our contacts against each other at times. When things line up, we try to bring to the board. Most of his contacts have had to do with Gruden and he honestly probably has the closest contact to the family of anyone on the board. My contacts are more widespread. We both have coaching contacts but I also have some contacts close to the board and boosters. This is why I might seem a little more believable because I can bring you more non-Gruden info like I did last night. Truth be told neither of us know if what happened this week will cause Gruden to just say no way. However, we both know there is still a chance and he hasn’t said no yet. Phil and team have now assembled a plan to see if they can get Gruden back on board....if not, he has a Plan B and plan C in place. Like Ma says....trust the process."
