A winning coach that knows how to win while having fun doing it and could potentially have what it takes to beat Bama isn't welcome at UT?
Should have just went with Doeren as our first choice and saved us from this mess we are in then.
I'm enjoying the Brohm comparisons. Just shows if Brohm turns "scumbag" and leaves Purdue after a year, that's ok.
It is ok if someone does that to some other program as long as it is your program.
Not mad at him for leaving for USC if someone wants to be mad about something be mad about the mess he left behind.
I agree. Wanting Kiffin back is like wanting your ex girlfriend back after she left your ass for another man in the middle of the night. I know the reference is tired and overused, but to me thats exactly how it feels. Except imagine her leaving you THEN going on twitter and making fun of you at every opportunity. People who want him hired have no pride and are pathetic.
And what mess did he leave? In all honesty, he wasnt the reason we got Dooley or Butch.
Hamilton could have easily rolled with Kippyvas interim for 2010 season. He also could have not forced Cutcliffe to keep Lanes assistants he didnt take to USC.
Hamilton wanted cheap. That caused the mess.
Valid concern. However, we never got in serious trouble. Probation and secondary violations are basically a slap on the wrist. However, Kiffin today is not the same prick we had back in 2009
His twitter account says otherwise.
Still bashes UT every chance he gets because he knows hell never get another opportunity here.
Still seems like an immature prick to me.
What does the date have to do with class. Either you have it or you don't. Kiffin doesn't.
Saban didnt let him coach the natty because of the media show of him taking FAU job. And that decision is the exact reason Bama didnt enter this season going for a three peat.
Funny how just a year earlier Kirby Smart took the UGA job and Saban literally let him do two jobs at once and stick around thru the playoff.
If they like mediocrity, Lane Kiffin would be perfect for them. He's been in P5 4+ years and won more than 8 one time.

Probably over 20 plus threads begging Kiffin to come back...
Question for all the Kiffinites.
What makes you so sure he wants to come back? He mocks and goes out of his own way to find something negative to post about UT on Twitter. Funny thing is, some of yall really believe hes matured. He still hasnt changed one bit nor does he have respect for this University.
Sorry but a coach with integrity doesnt seem to fit Kiffins narrative.
Maybe somewhere like UL or FSU would be a better landing spot if hes really that desperate.
Not to mention, what the hell has he proven as a HC in the SEC? Im not talking about being an OC.
Huge difference between those two.
People who believed in Gruden was a possibility got blasted but somehow the folks who believe Kiffin would be a great option, they get praised for it.
Kiffin had his chance but he pissed it away. The fans nor the University doesnt owe him a damn thing expect a giant middle finger.
