High low high low high low high low high low high low...That is just this week.

Can we please keep it at high for the foreseeable future?

I am glad you used hi low instead of up down (otherwise that conversation would have pertained to last night with all the drinking and partying).

Would it not be $10 mil/ 10 years? Sounds ludicrous to me, but why not?

Leach knows nothing about SEC football other than getting stomped by them in a couple of bowl games...

I am in the minority on this. I'll always have a soft spot for an adult man that skateboards around town and says eff you to the buttoned up boosters.

hey y'all how's everyone doing today?

sounded as if there were some wild nights had by some in here

I think there are some members walking carefully today.

I packed it in around 11:30 when some of the posts seemed to be written in Martian...

Hubbs hasn't changed his opinion:

I think someone reached out to his people.

They would very much like Gruden to say he doesn't want the job. Tennessee should have and needs to put it to bed. But I don't think fans believe it's a real possibility.

Could they find 10 million a year. I don't know that they could. I don't think that figure has ever had any realism to it.

You haven't been paying attention. $10MM is nothing when you compare the revenue with Gruden to the revenue with a less than stellar coach. Gruden would be probably be worth tens of millions in additional revenue. Even with Fulmer making the hire, I'm not back on the Vol train unless he makes a program-changing hire. I'll be in wait and see mode.

Right on👍🏽 Fulmer never being at a negotiation table,do you think he will be clutch enough to go for it with the right numbers in place and fire his shot or is there any doubt there

i've been out, catching up ... this does not answer your question ... just a thought ... i bet bev signs off on whatever Director Fulmer brings her (at this point).

Haha I bet it's been a crazy week for Aunt Bev I feel bad for her but proud of her at the same time...at least we know she's capable of giving John Adams the middle finger, now we just need her to do the same to jimmy

You’re not in the minority according to the poll posted on this same board. You’re in the overwhelming majority...

Leach has also coached in the S.E.C.
He’s been on the biggest stage in the OC role, for those who think his system isn’t fit for bigger conferences...tune into ESPN right now and watch his direct disciple (Lincoln Riley) call the shots with that O...they’re effective, balanced and exciting. Oh and he fields a top 20 D as well ...

Do I think he’s the best fit? Maybe not...if you’re a fan of the status quo that UT has been historiacally (both in good times and bad)....but he’d be our own version of Spurrier and I for one think he’d win.

Here's the problem with the Gruden and control issue.

Fulmer's not going to give it up either. CPF is a boss. He's going to run it like a boss. Total control for Gruden is not going to fit into that - at least I can't see it.

Two counterpoints:
(1) Gruden might not have to have the same level of control with an AD that will support him 100% (Fulmer v. Currie)
(2) PF will do what is best for UT. He's not a control freak, never has been. He's a team guy-doesn't seek credit for what the team does.

1 Is that news to you.gif

Sen John F'n Kerry pulled that card at a DMV in Massachusetts for cutting a line one time..And he got shut down

Same guy who thought he knew how to properly handle a .50 cal fired into a rock, was scratched by the shards flying off the rock, turned himself in as wounded and received a PH for it and rode it into politics.....loser
