Lulz at deerhunter as a legitimate source. If Gruden actually got announced at all, especially between now and Monday, nobody's pants would be shat more than his.

If you think Phil just accidentally landed in that position you would be mistaken. That position was created specifically for him. It placed him in the administration and gave him a chance to see exactly what was going on.

He's annoying I asked him which coach his daughters played for and took two hours for him to give me an answer when there's only been two coaches in over 54 years but I hope he gets a nice gun out of it

Miles is a coach who won a national championship. They would bring in a very good staff made up of vols.

Watching Riley Ferguson tear it up is really depressing.

But then I remember the idiots who caused his under development are gone and Tennessee just turned a corner.

Also, Steele as anything other than a DC is a laughably bad option and would basically kill my confidence in the program ever really being relevant again.

This was probably the preferred plan that was assumed to be "a bridge to far" to be successful.

Haslam slit his own neck by forcing the fire of Currie and then Queen Bev put Heavy in charge....

My hat is off to Queen Bev 👸.

She ultimately took control. She may not seem so sharp at a press conference, but I bet she commands a room. You don't get that high in any profession without knowing how to game the system. She is now a legend despite the Currie hire. Even more once the 🏆's start rolling in.

But wasn't confining that thought to just the search for a new head coach. Speaking more generally about the possibility LWS reengages with the booster community.

Especially since his avatar is (I think) of him and Phil on the golf course together. :good!:

IMO Heavy is looking to stabilize everything and get it going in the right direction, then sit back and enjoy it...he doesn't want 18hr days for the next 2-5 years. If he can solidify everything immediately why not do it?
