I mean the leadership has to realize that Leach would at least semi-unite the fan base. If you by-pass Leach and end up with a Steele its going to lose the fans.

I agree. Something's gotta give here. Could be Haslam just positioning others a la a game of chess. Who knows..

If Leach wants to come and Haslam, or anyone doing his bidding, screws it up out of spite, there needs to be a legit mutiny on the Hill. But for reals....

So...I've lost a lot of respect for Manning in this search. Apparently he holds some sort of grudge towards Tee, that's why they haven't even contacted him. Also...apparently he gave the okay to hire Schiano. Disgusting.

Ok so Fulmer is fighting to get rid of Currie not Leach but that fight could screw things up with the hire. Hey Phil, it can wait!

I think Smart is recruiting so well that he will destroy a Mike Leach team with top 15 classes.

I think Dan Mullen at Florida will destroy a Mike Leach team with top 15 classes.

Bama will mop the floor with us yearly.

This is not a good fit in this conference.

We need to pull this guy off the road and end it right now.

Ousting the Haslams is a bigger pipedream than hiring Gruden.

Fulmer will find a compromise in Steele and they'll sign off on it. Then we'll go 9-36 and be looking for another Haslam man in 4 years.

Yeah, we will all be happy with Fulmer while Arkansas is scoring 50 on us next time we play them. We will be asking “ why didn’t we hire Leach?”
