He's going to have to be committed to running the ball more. That's just a fact.

His staff, besides the DC, does not impress me at all. He'll have to replace more than half those guys to be successful recruiting in this conference.

I don't think elite high school players are going to want to play for him. He'll get good players, I have no doubt. But the cream of the crop? I have my doubts.

I asked around and I don't think the current players are happy about it at all after Sumlin's name was floated.

Listen, I like Leach and think he's a very good X's and O's coach and I will support him. I just hope he'll be able to get the talent to succeed here. We'll need a very deep defensive roster in order to keep up with our offense. The defense will be on the field a lot vs. a lot of power running teams.

I think it’s been proven that your info is about as reliable as Hyams during this search.

So has Hubbs said anything of substance about Leach. I obviously read the may be a busy day but that seems unclear.

He averages 25 rushes a game. I would like around 30 which is doable.

Hopefully he will surround himself with some sec coaches and top recruiters i.e coach G

Wash ST wasn't even heard of until Leach got there. Neither was TT for that matter.

IDK who you talked to, but the players are loving the idea of Leach.

This search has taught me many things but one of them are the dudes claiming they have sources being FOS like Kingston. So we are all in this, in the dark, together.

This guy can’t win here. It’s gonna be a 3 year maybe 4 year marriage.

However I will say this. I would rather have Leach the way we got him than to be force fed that 💩 sandwich option 1 of Greg Schiano they tried to serve us.

There are no more grand slam hires. Those were done a week or so ago when it was clear we weren’t getting Petersen or Gruden. Anyone we get now won’t be a guarantee but Leach would be a bunch of fun. And I don’t think he’d have us losing to the bottom half of the SEC.

Look my original list was:

Jon Gruden
John Harbaugh
Gary Patterson
Chris Petersen
Chip Kelly
Ron Swanson

Not all of those guys have turned us down yet. Of course one of those names isn't really serious and tbh I have real issues about how successful he could be here but we don't have to worry about that since he already took the job as UCLA.

His offense at KY lit it up so we know it can work. Hopefully his defense can work.

Right - and that's my thing too. He's 100x better than Schiano and Doeren.

I guess I'm just speaking for myself, which is fine, but I'd have much preferred to get the Brohm or Sumlin deals done. I don't know that they were every super realistic options though.
