He's not beating smart and Mullen regularly, but way better than the rest of the names being mentioned.

You would think they would fire (or at least demote) Currie by now. It is clear he can't get it done. Can't they remove all football coaching search duties from him but keep him as a financial guy so they don't have to eat the buyout? Name CPF as AD over Football.

I agree. Why hire a guy who couldn't get it done at a similar program (even though UT is better). Take a chance with someone that might get it done.

He beat both UF and USCe this year with a freshman QB!!!! The freshman went 8/24 against UF and still won. I wish we could say the same.

Almost if not the only way he wins back this fan base. Morris, Steele or any of the other names just will not do it at this point even if they are solid coaches. It will take an extraordinary act like this for Currie to not be a "dead man walking" to the fan base.

IDT he cares about winning back the fanbase. He has no future here, and he'll be glad to go. His motivation is to make a hire ASAP and get out of the fire.

The law of diminishing returns has set in. He's going to move down the list quickly till someone says yes.

He's a good solid coach. Brohm and Morris have more of an ceiling imo
