DD is in the process of building a solid program, we can win the ACC in the next 2-3 Years. The talent he has DEVELOPED has taken the #1 team in the country down to the wire 2 years in a row, and could have won both of them had the ball bounced our way. The 2018 Recruiting class is the best class yet, imagine what the staff could do with talent like that (2 x Army AAs!). DD seems to have a good relationship with his coaches, and the players seem to be comfortable with them. That is the foundation for building a competing program.
With that said…
I trust Yow, hell I send her and the WPC more than my wife thinks I should. I understand her decision making process right now as well, protect the university while continuing to build for the future without bankrupting the athletic department. Should DD Leave, I am 100% confident that Yow would make a good hire and keep the program stable.
I dont know guys

Who's tweeting? I follow pretty much everyone that covers Tennessee and I haven't seen them tweet or re-tweet anything to support this.

If you do a Twitter search for "Doeren" and scroll latest tweets, there are a number of people saying it. It's buzz right now, not any "report." One was a TN HS football coach, one was a Penn State blog, one was a person saying an insider TN board was talking about it.

At this point I have to hope our next coach is preparing for a conference championship this weekend. So we will not know them until that game is done.

Hoping it is a Kiffin...highly doubt it.

But could be a Tee or Venables.

i think you can kiss Kiffin goodbye....that's not happening. not trying to be argumentative. just that it's a fact. i'd take him. but we can't do that now. that ship sailed a long time ago.

you call Tee. you call Les. like now. i don't think BV really wants to be a head coach, and even if he does now, i doubt seriously he wants this dumpster fire to be his first go round at it. and no way he would want to work for currie and bd, and ultimately report to haslam.

Tee and Les both have said they want it. pick up the phone. call them. it's not that hard at this point.

You don't call Les . Don't need someone that has proven he is not a match to Saban, with teams as talented as you will find.

last week, you and i agree. this week, les would be a home run.

and saban and bama are not the bar for us right now.

we're on a losing streak to vandy, and have lost 3 of 5 to them.

the bar is as low as it's ever been. and it shows no signs of being raised anytime soon.
