What’s sad is that I watched the Miami / Notre Dame game while we were playing Mizzou. And that’s while we were tied !!!

So if NC State pushes an extension like it sounds like would he stay?

Why does it feel like we are relying on NC State's administration success to avoid our own administration's idiocy!?!?!?!?

Because that is exactly what we are doing.

I refuse to believe Dorean is even being considered for the job, less multiple people in the ATD will sign off on it...to even consider him would be a crime against one's mind..

I mean they did a bang up job and canned Gotfried as Basketball coach like idiots.

OMG I'd take a local high school coach over this guy. What makes them think he can win a Sec games when he gets beat in ACC. So UT though.
Norvell is looking great to me now. Anybody else

I live in Alabama; but will not switch the the tide or tigers. I’ll just switch to the food network or DIY I guess lol

I’m just starting my restoration of an ‘85 Chevy K10. I’ll just go get another old truck and spend a lot more time doing restoration projects on saturdays than watching the sh*tshow unfold.

Sharing what I've learned through sources

-NC State is offering Doeren 5 years, 3 million per year. So the fifth year has been added. State also gave $750,000 to add to pool for assistant coaches and will guarantee contracts up to three years. That's a big deal for assistants.
.
-hearing Tennessee is offering 4.5 million per year for five years. I'm told Tennessee AD was in Raleigh today.

-I'm told Doeren will sleep on it and decide tomorrow. I'm guessing something should come by lunch.

-my personal feeling (despite disparity in numbers I've been told) is Doeren will stay. Maybe I'm just looking at it from glass half full perspective. Bottom line- Tennessee fans don't support the hire. State fans (for the most part) want him to stay.

As always, things are fluid and will report if anything changes. I think Cory picked up on some stuff at game and will share what he's heard once he gets home from game.

That’s from 247.

I got a very sick feeling about this...Currie is trying to settle and he's desperate to just take whoever at this point.

Currie cannot just offer a coach some obscene amount of money and he become the head coach at Tennessee. If you will look in previous contracts, there is a clause that states it has to be signed by other parties to become legally binding, one is Chancellor Davenport. So if this happens then that means the big role players at Tennessee signed off on it.

I hope the players are just playing with the fanbase. Maybe they wanted to get us worked up. I also was hoping maybe this was us just trying to lure Brohm into a better deal.

He can settle for Kiffin. F*** Fulmer’s personal agenda against Lane, we would be a minimum 8-4 team in year 1 with the talent we have.
