If you are wondering how Currie and Davenport could possibly be this incompetent, just take a look at their career history...
John Currie
1993: Graduated college
1993-1994: Intern, Wake Forest
1994-1995: Assistant Deacon Club Director, Wake Forest
1995-1997: Assistant Athletic Director, Wake Forest
1998-2008: Accociate Athletic Direcor, Tennessee
2009-2016: Athletic Director, Kansas State
2017-Current: Athletic Director, Tennessee
Beverly Davenport
1981: Graduated College (PhD)
1982-1994: Professor, Various Institutions
1995-2001: Dean of Social Sciences, Kansas
2002-2007: Associate Provost for Special Initiatives, Purdue
2008-2009: Director of Discovery Learning Research Center, Purdue
2010-2013: Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs, Purdue
2013-2015: Senior Vice Provost of Academic Affairs, Cincinnati
2015-2016: Interim President, Cincinnati
2017-Current: Chancellor, Tennessee
Neither of them have ever spent a day outside of the academic world. They went to college and never left. There is absolutely ZERO experience in the private sector between the two of them. You wonder why they don't know how to negotiate a deal? Or how to understand their customers (ie fans)? Or how to deliver a product effectively and efficiently? It's because they've never had to... These people SHOULD NOT be in charge of negotiating or offering a multi-million dollar contract to ANYONE. We need an Administration that has REAL WORLD experience. Someone who understands marketing, someone who has negotiated high profile contracts, someone who understands risk vs reward.
Fire these 2 idiots NOW
