I’m down with Brohm, but just wanted to point this out. He lost to the guy we fired by 32 points, after all the bi+4ing about how Butch lost to Dooley.

That was some cheesy Hollywood version of a football locker room. FFS I think we are getting screwed again. Jumping Jesus on a stick, why can't we have nice things at UT?

Um... not even close. For one, he actually played the game at a high level. Jones washed jock straps for the Bucs.

Brohm took a roster among the worst in college football, installed his system, hired his staff, then led them to 6 wins. They were competitive in every loss... and blew out a team that just blew out UT.

Brohm won championships at WKU. Not ties. Not imaginary ones. Not excuses. He took a team that Petrino made "good"... and made it much better.



The bottom line is that Jones has never been accused of being a great football mind. Brohm is.

Yes, Brohm's resume is much better than Butch. He would be a more exciting prospect if our expectations had been more realistic.

He is a google coach foe 95% of yhe fan base. Knowing who he is puts you in the minority.

Petrino was the head coach at Western Kentucky that season. Brohm was on staff though.

Source: Tennessee is closing in a deal with Purdue coach Jeff Brohm. UT interviewed Chad Morris of SMU last night but apparently UT favors Brohm.

If Jimmy said this, then the deal has probably already been finished and a press conference will be held today.

Anyone who tries to justify for or against Brohm by comparing previous scores to other coaches (Lyle included) is doing it wrong. Football is not that cut and dry. There’s far more elements that play into each game and each year that are constantly changing.

Removing Team Toxic (Davenport/Currie/Haslam/Manning) has to be the only goal at this point!

TN will never have a chance until these people are removed. These are the EXACT people responsible for burning our house down. They do not Care! They are being paid well for the results they have produced and will continue to produce (Brohm, Jones, Dooley...).

Face it, all we have at this point are ashes. The only way a home is rebuilt after it burns is by the ones that actually had invested in it and care!

It's time to Stop complaining, Stop looking for some outsider to clean up our mess and Stop being afraid to succeed!

It's time to go to Work with a single goal if you want to see TN's home rebuilt!

6 and 6 at Perdue. Currie should be tarred and feathered. The ghoul Haslam should be exorcised from the program, and Peyton, well Peyton should just be ashamed. I'll be the guy in the Fire Currie t-shirt at the game tonight if you want to discuss it. I'll not spend a penny on concessions, never stop at Pilot unless it's to take a big dump, and will always use free or second-hand tickets to basketball games. I'm done with Tennessee football.
