Gundy was a 6 yr contract for 42 mil plus buyout of 3 mil so total 45 mil. So need to add another year to brohms and the original post was 5.5 a year. Totals 43.5 with buyout and bonus. You would pay Brohm the same as Gundy. That's a hard swallow he def doesn't have the record or success as Gundy

If there's any justice whatsoever in this world, we will fall backwards into a Brohm hire and he'll turn out to be the next Chip Kelly or something.

3) If you talk him into staying, half the staff hates him and will revolt.

4) the players hate him.

5) we're not going to suddenly get better at coaching searches in a year.

Imagine waiting a year and the boosters pooling their money to finally grab a big fish, and then Currie disappears for a month and returns with......

That would be Gundy at 45 and Brohm at 41. Yea nearly 1mil less a year is worth it for Brohm

I heard on the radio that coaches were calling Snyder and Martin to ask about Currie and they were being told how awful Currie is. Even before the crap Sunday coaches were afraid to come here because of Bahama John.

With this fiasco and his massive buyout, I think Bahama John is hands down the worst hire in Tennessee athletics history. Even worse than Wade Houston.

There isn't.

I see this going the following way in the next hours:

We get positive feedback from Hubbs and the like on the opportunity.

People begin claiming they've heard Brohm will take it.

Kingston will say it's done.

Bass will flip out and post something along the lines of "It's really happening isn't it?!"

nick will post "Podium."

And then it will fall apart like it did last night.

Gundy wasn't about the money. It's his Alma mater, wanted changes probably got them, family lives there. When it's not about money it's a hard sell with what we have.

All these guys are busters. They are guys we will fire in a couple years and we will still have a crap roster.

Hire Tee and let’s pretend to have some hope. He will stock it with talent.
