Don't worry. Gundy used us again. Down the road I hope we play and beat the ever lovin crap out of them! I'm ready to get Tee and get some VFL's on staff to get after it!

Dunno if this is true. He didnt get a raise. I believe he seriously considered it and made the decision he thought was best for him and his

The 1977 Majors hire hit the reset button - he was exactly the type of hire people wanted the AD to make this time around.

There was no Derek Dooley on crutches or Butch Jones Champion of Life BS. It was just big orange football.

It mattered then - a lot. It seems like it doesn't to anyone but the fans now.

They better get this hire right or there may be no recovery.

Hmmm, really? So in the late 70's did we get blown out 41-0 in Neyland? Or go almost 4 entire games without an offensive TD? Oh and lest we forget the first time in school history 4-8. But yeah clearly we were much worse.
