I think I'm done too.

The Gruden thread used to be entertaining even if you didn't believe all the "sources" and now it's just fighting.

This whole situation is embarrassing and sad and frustrating and it's finally starting to affect my mood, so I probably need to take a break.

I'll support the next coach, but I don't expect much.

I'm waiting until the presser is announced and then will decide. No worries OP...many feel like you right now. We've waited this long just see what Tennessee is going to do.

Just got through telling this to my wife. It’s truly sad to think about.

I just don’t see how we are able to justify $340 million in renovations for Neyland in our current state. Should be looking to demo part of it.

It has been a rocky road lately and this is obviously the worst season I have ever experienced as a Vol fan but I was raised knowing that there will be ups and downs in life. The people saying that they are "done" are conditional fans... in my opinion they are weak and aren't willing to suffer through the hard times with the rest of us, but i am sure they were sporting their power Ts in the 90s when we were killing it. Part of being a fan is going through the good times and the bad. I believe most of the fan base is solid through thick and thin but the folks on here quitting on the program now when it needs them the most should be ashamed.

Stop being such a huge p****. How do you know the next coach will be a failure if he's not a huge name? Chad Morris averaged 40 points at Clemson and rebuilt SMU from 1-11. Clay Travis, The Vol Colonel, and other Tennessee fans need to DBAP. Our coaching options are limited, particularly by next year's schedule and the level of competition we perennially face.

I have through North Texas State Wyoming Georgia Tech
And more and honestly this crap show has just about put me out
A lot depends on who this hire is
A this point my child will go to an opposing school

How would you classify fans that proclaim that they are "done" with this program depending on the coaching hire? I choose to classify them as weak fans... that is my opinion.. if you don't like other's opinions then a message board probably isn't for you.

Actually empty neyland all year will send the right message and no $340 mill improvement will take place.. leaving haslime with egg on his face

If they screw up this hire I'm done spending money on anything UT related until it gets fixed.

I've been to over 200 games since the late 70s and won't waste anymore time, energy or money on something that has been neglected by people making money off of consistent failures.

I won't go to another game until this gets fixed.

We were worse in the late 70's than we have been the past 4 years so you should know better than most of us that teams go through cycles. I became a fan in the late 80's so the past ten years have been humbling for me especially this year.

I won't be done but at my age and in my health I'll be dead and buried in all Tennessee Orange.

I'd hoped to see 1 more National Championship before God calls me home but that hope is now gone and I can't express how sad that makes me.

I'll never be in Neyland again because I'm not physically able, never see another Vol walk or the kids running through the T except on TV.

Big $$$ boosters should never have so much power over a AD unless the only thing they want is what's best for the sports programs.

The Haslam power should be gone NOW.

Currie should be gone NOW.

Blackburn should take over tomorrow.

Davenport should also be gone NOW!

ALL fans of Tennessee should more seriously unite, more than Sunday, and demand that these changes be made instantly.

We should NOT hire a new HC for our footVol Team until Haslam is forced out and Blackburn is firmly in charge.

NOW is the time for all real fans to unite and be heard loud and clear because after this we may never get a opportunity like this where the entire nation is watching to clean house and make things right again.

At least then maybe I can die knowing that our program is back in good hands, all our sports Teams are getting better, the kids are getting a quality education and Tennessee is once again a power in National sports.

Please God, make these good things happen.

Instead of being part of our potential rise from mediocrity by supporting our new coach and contributing to a supportive atmosphere for our players... they decide to quit.
