If Tee were ready to run this program-- which involves overseeing and managing something like 150 staffers and players-- he would have been called and interviewed. If he hadn't won an NC here, people wouldn't even give him a thought. The job's much too big for him right now. He needs to go to a smaller program and get some real-time experience.

Exactly. Back away from the ledge people, there is still some good coaches out there that we could get. Tee has not proved it yet. No reason to get him just because he's a Tennessee guy.

Racist undertones because they’re questioning an African American’s work ethic when it’s quite clear to anyone with a functioning frontal cortex that he’s anything but lazy.

I can't say what they are thinking but I think it's incredibly irresponsible to suggest they are being racist for potentially questioning a red, white, yellow or purples mans work ethic

If Kevin Steel is the best we can pull, just wait to the end of the NFL season and try with someone there. Early signing period is probably dead now. Funny we were a program that looked to benefit from it and now it is going to kill us.

Let’s hire the guy that helped ruin the UT football program rather than our national championship winning QB that is one of the best recruiters in the country and a Broyles award nominee! That would be such wise decision!

Sorry, Tee's just not ready. Love the nostalgia behind it, but otherwise it's a Hail Mary attempt with the QB about to get sacked.

I agree, but who do we go after then? It can not be Steele and everyone else seems to hate us.

What reason do they have to call him lazy when there’s a mountain of evidence against him being lazy?

I think this is one of the more logical ideas. If Marrone does have interest, it's worth the wait at this point.

He wasnt bc haslam told currie who to interview. Doesnt mean hes not ready.

Of course he's not ready. He's been an OC running someone else's offense for only 3 years. He's never run a program, never supervised a large staff, never managed an entire roster. If Fulmer thought he was remotely qualified, we'd have at least talked to him.

Dabo swinney had less of a resume than Tee but was the same age as him when he became the head coach of Clemson. He’s doing pretty well isn’t he?

Kirby smart was 39 when Georgia hired him. First year was rough but look at them now. Tee is as ready as both of those guy’s.

Well I would think Fulmer and PM would know exactly what kind of working he is.

Again the schedule of an assistant coach is much less demanding than a head coach.

Look I am not saying that is the case just bringing up that a possibility since Hubbs apparently mentioned.

I just can't wrap my head around this concept. Does Haslam donate more money than the rest of the boosters combined??? If not, there's no reason for him to have this much power!

alot of you saying hes not ready dont even know if hes not ready. How many coordinators do i need to name for you that ended up being good coaches? Clay Helton works with him daily and said hes ready. But yall are gonna believe Haslam? or Currie? or Peyton who is not even around the guy at all.

You really comparing Smarts resume to Tees?

It is much more than Age

He doesn't want it. A lot of boosters like him but not the one booster who shall remain nameless.

Screw that! It's that bastage Has been

It's time for Haslam to GTFO.

Seriously, I think what's been brought to light the lssst few days has to loosen his grip on this program. I think throwing this money at Gundy was his attempt to fix his f up. Everyone is starting to learn about his control. His image is further dwindling.

So I had seen where there may be beef between Tee and Peyton and that might be part of the problem.

I tried to find a picture of them together and found two. One as players and one of that’s wax figures...

Does anyone know if there is beef and what it is about?
