I have some questions for the Tee supporters. Will you still support him if his best win total is 6 within the next 3-5 years? How about if he won 3 next year? Do you expect him to kill it here? Do you just love him because he played at UT?

The answer is no, but I will gratefully give him his severance as we make a competent hire with a competent AD that they procured while he held this **** together.

I haven't seen the post but buddy of mine said Hubbs made a comment a few days ago that he wasn't sure Tee had the work ethic for this job.

We have rumors of that along with Fulmer and Manning not supporting him. I'd said that is eye opening
And there are the racist undertones again. What kind of garbage excuse is that? He was the national recruiter of the year and is regarded as one of the best recruiters in the country. You don’t earn that respect by being lazy or lacking work ethic

Phil doesn't think T is ready.

He’s not, I absolutely agree, but I still think he could be a hire that unites the fan base and has a lot of potential. The program has been set back regardless. The minimum that we should do is interview Tee and listen to his plan for the team and program. Dabo wasn’t ready either when Clemson hired him, but after a couple years the program started its climb. I fully believe that the fan base would be patient with him, or at least more patient then whoever Currie gets in there now. I would be worried about Tee damaging his UT image that he has right now if he failed but if Tee is up for the challenge then I’d give him a shot.

Well I've been busy since about 6. Glad I missed the train wreck. I give up. skeeter and j Allen sound like Currie might be in trouble. That's the one positive I filtered out of the last 20 pages.

Best hire we can make right now is Tee

Kiffin. He has something for everyone. Want to see UT potentially win? Check. Want to see UT potentially recruit well? Check. Want to watch UT potentially burn to the ground? Check.

On the front end, there's literally something for everyone to be excited about.

How the hell is that racist?

Assistant coaching schedule is much less demanding than a head coach. That was the assertion.

Maybe. But he wants the job and he can't do worse than Steele's HC record.

I think his staff would be really good and so would recruiting. Surely he can actually make some decisions during the game better than Botch

Let’s hire the guy that helped ruin the UT football program rather than our national championship winning QB that is one of the best recruiters in the country and a Broyles award nominee! That would be such wise decision!

I just wana win. Yall can kiss my ass but Kiffin is better than the entire remaining field. But we will hire Steele. We are F'd. Time to buy a boat.

If Tee were ready to run this program-- which involves overseeing and managing something like 150 staffers and players-- he would have been called and interviewed. If he hadn't won an NC here, people wouldn't even give him a thought. The job's much too big for him right now. He needs to go to a smaller program and get some real-time experience.

Racist undertones because they’re questioning an African American’s work ethic when it’s quite clear to anyone with a functioning frontal cortex that he’s anything but lazy.

If Dabo Swinney can do it I know for a fact that Tee Martin can. It might take him a couple years of learning on the job but it would be worth those early bumps in the road.
