So nobody has given him another shot in 20 years? Why? He even was out of football for a year in 2012 and he's 60 years old.

Depends on if he is a driven person. He has won a couple conference championships but never a national championship. He has most probably peeked at OSU, do to recruiting and conference. At UT he could compete and win a Natty. Not sure he will, but there are very good reasons to try if he's driven.

I agree, I know the reasons. Other than Rich Rod I was just wondering if it’s been done before.

Very disturbing and it’s a shame it happens. I would not be athletic director because I wouldn’t want that kind of pressure in my life but I would expect that sort of thing to happen from time to time. Doesn’t make it right and doesn’t mean they should have to endure that. It also doesn’t mean that the rest of the fan base can’t be angry with our AD.

Thanks for understanding that. I'm also saying you cannot stop mentally ill people from doing this in this day and age. Blaming a whole fanbase for what a few psychotic lunatics say or do is wrong. I don't think most people realize how many truly psychotic people are running loose in the world. I do because of both me and my wife's line of work has entailed working with people that get turned loose on society. I have stories that will make your skin crawl from my time working security in a psych ward. I've been threatened with death and harm many times from people who had already served time for assault and attempted murder. I hope this explains what I said better

Saying it comes with the job doesn't excuse the behavior. So because he has a high profile job we should just accept that behavior? It should be condemned at every turn and not written off as it comes with the territory.
