This may already have been posted, but the Gundy situation is similar to 2012. Hart made the offer and Gundy wanted to think about it overnight. Hart was sure we had a deal and had the announcement prepared. Then Gundy took the raise.

Hubbs said the offer was between $6 and $7M, not $8M, and he wasn't sure UT would go higher.

In the second paragraph, are you talking about this offer or the offer in 2012?

The media is siding with Schiano because they hate Tennessee. Schiano is going to milk this faux victim narrative for every little drop of sympathy he can get. I'm surprised he hasn't gone on TV and cried.

First off, screw Schiano.

But when it comes to the perception that the media hates Tennessee, i implore to make sure you aren’t suffering from the base rate cognitive fallacy.

Basically, when we assume someone is bias, we don’t always take into account our own bias.

Example

I’ll read less negative media about LSU because I don’t actively search for media about LSU. When i do read negative media about LSU, it impacts me less and i remember it less because I’m not emotionally invested in LSU.

The converse is true for UT. I search more and care more, so I’ll believe that there is more negative media for UT, even if LSU has an equal amount or more because I’ll see it more and be emotionally impacted by it more
